WOFTAM! – CAVEAT EMPTOR! This unit is the biggest piece of garbage it has ever been my misfortune to purchase. It doesn't recognise discs, it won't load discs. When it will recognise a disc, it freezers up, the sound is weird, it pixelates. This unit has now been Defenestrated. (Thrown Out The Window)

Nice product -but manual needs work! – The printed manual is seriously lacking regarding how to connect the unit to a tV. This requires 2 RAC cables. Only one is provided with the product and the need for an additional one is far from clear in the manual. You need to go out and buy a second one to get both colour AND sound! The unit also has a tendancy for the disc to slip out of its tray and back into the unit on opening. Apart from these two issues it’s fine. Eric of Wellington, NZ

This is an amazing DVD multi region player – I can now play DVDs on my player, and I don`t have to worry about the DVD region I am playing.

Purchased in for $69.

Very compact great for limited spaces – Small DVD player but packed with heaps of extras. Very pleased with this purchase. The remote has heaps of buttons and I'm sure will not work them all out but there is really no need. Play, rewind is all you really need. Instruction manual easy to understand and very comprehensive. Only had the DVD for a week but if it continues to work as it has started it will be one of the best buys in a long time. Also terrific to see it is made in Australia. Would certainly look at Lenoxx first before making further electronic purchases. Very happy.

Purchased in at Temple & Webster for $55.90.

Brilliant value for money multizone DVD player – I bought this dvd player from Lenoxx Electronics from ebay as I previously had a good experience from their budget mini systems. This dvd player was originally bought as a spare in case one of my main Pioneer or Panasonic machines died on me, after all we're in lockdown at the moment due to COVID-19. I honestly wasn't expecting much due to the low price, it was around $60 for memory. Well, you just can't judge products these days from the purchase price. This model is the epitome of cheap and cheerful but also a whole lot more. While this is no blu ray player or HDMI equipped machine, you don't expect that for the money any way. The basic DVD player has a component and AV video/ audio output like the good old days of VHS recorders. The small but full functional remote control has a good feel to it with excellent responsiveness. There is disc eject/ close button on the remote which some Japanese branded machines worth $500 do not have, ahem... The picture quality is simply superb for such a low priced machine: good black levels, colour saturation and depth of field. Sound quality is perfectly acceptable at two-channels so this is ideal as a bedroom unit hooked up to a 32 inch TV as I have done. Spare model? Not likely, it is far too good for that. It will get some good use as I watch some great movies on DVD. Lenoxx Electronics seems to be consistently putting out excellent budget products at very low prices but that does not always mean cheap and nasty. The brand is now my go-to place for discount electronics. Very highly recommended - and not just for the price! Shame they don't do TVs or even a blu ray player...
