Received as a gift, fantastic product. Drink so much tea and this kettle will keep a pot warm for 4 hours with thermostat. Very easy to use. Their customer service is fantastic as well. Joanne in their Head Office was so helpful and polite with a query I had. Highly recommend product and company to others. Thank you
The base of the kettle got stained upon the first use. Even AFTER following the long-winded cleaning instructions could not remove the stain. Do not recommend at all for making tea. Also, the metal lid gets extremely hot and can be super hard to remove. Do yourself a favour and get a normal kettle, this is a waste of time and money.
The worse tea maker i have ever purchased, its strews the tea no matter what temperature you put it on, you do not give any indication on what to brew the tea at. The only thing good is that it keeps it warm but makes the tea taste worse. Given the… Read more
choice again i would not purchase this machine and it stained the first time i used it now it looks dirty all the time
Follow-up · I haven’t changed my mind on this, i am using it only because i bought it otherwise i wish i never did
After the first heat, the tip of the spout broke and of course - bits of glass went into my drink. I couldn't find where I had purchased this from to return under warranty. Fast forward to now and the tip just randomly cracked more!! Quite disappointed with the quality of the tempered glass to say the least. The lid also doesn't sit tight and when pouring, the lid would come off. Show details
Amazing Healthy Choice 1.2L Digital Kettle – I absolutely love the Healthy Choice 1.2L Digital Kettle! It’s sleek, efficient, and so easy to use. The glass design is not only stylish but also lets you see the water boiling, which is a nice touch. The digital controls are intuitive, and the ability to set different temperatures is a game-changer, especially for tea lovers like me. It heats… Read more
up quickly and is super quiet compared to other kettles I’ve owned.
I’ve bought several of these, both for myself and as gifts for family and friends, and everyone has been equally impressed. It’s a reliable, high-quality product that I can’t recommend enough!
Thank you, Healthy Choice, for creating such an outstanding appliance.
Nice but short lifespan – Worked perfectly for 20 months, then stopped heating. Lights and sounds work, but doesn’t heat the water at all. Contacted seller for help to troubleshoot as there isn’t anything in the manual, only to be told it’s outside of the 12 month warranty, they can’t help. Really liked the kettle, but very disappointed in the longevity and customer service. Show details
Stopped working after 1 day – Stopped working after 1 day. Making beeping noise and won’t allow you to press any buttons.
A perfect Kettle for cold winters – We are very happy with its very clever technology. However it stopped working within its 12 month warranty period. I notified the Lenoxx company on Wednesday 5th July 2023 about the electronics had stopped working showing an error code "E3". They honoured their warranty very well we thought by us receiving a replacement on the following Monday 10th July 2023. Show details
Makes excellent Tea + low power – Picked up this kettle from a sale; the low power attracted me as I was looking for something that wouldn't overload the inverter in the caravan, as it claims 800 Watts only and variable power for 50 - 800 (more on this only partially true claim later). So we thought to try it out first, of course & see how it worked in our kitchen. It has 5… Read more
preset temperatures from 100ºC - 80ºC together with a thermostat {40ºC - 100ºC} / keep warm / timer / variable power / programmable through a function button. The Kettle is {borosilicate?} glass with a moulded handle and spout, and stainless steel infuser in which to put your tea leaves (or leave them out and just use as a kettle). It sits on the usual electronic base with the ring contacts - which are a bit tight. The inner section of the infuser can be left out if you are not using it. The display shows the current water temperature and power level when you are using the power select. The last settings for the kettle do not appear to be stored when the power is switched off, but chosing the boiling temperature is not difficult - its more of a nuisance if you wanted to permanently select a different power level. Making Tea - it needs to have enough water to both cover the temperature sensor in the base of the kettle and reach the tea infuser - this amounts to enough water for two cups of tea. I initially tried the one spoon of tea per person, set the temperature to 90 as I didn't want to actually boil the tea leaves but just infuse it. The taste was fine, the surprise was the strength - the amount of tea leaves can be halved, as the constant contact and heat effectively draws the flavour well without having to use excessive amount of tea leaves. Keep warm - Its good for a while, but eventually the tea will be overcooked and too bitter / strong - experimenting with the "thermostat" temperature for the keep warm might be useful there. Herbal Tea - excellent.
Cons: Memorising settings - it would be good if it came back the the last setting{s} used. Glass - fragility; while it looks great, pours really well, the fragility is a concern for travelling as is does not have a protecting shell or case - I can use see the handle / spout getting broken Safety cutout - There is NO MENTION of a resettable thermal safety cutout. Most kettles have a thermal switch to protect from boiling dry (and often a non replaceable fuse) and with a keep warm function the potential for boiling dry is even greater. {perhaps the reps can advise on this forum?}. Boiling dry could? kill this kettle permanently Power - The low power modes are NOT as claimed - I measured the electrical current on the 50 Watt setting and it measured closer to 250 Watts - this is really relevant if you are looking for low power usage for people off grid. The 200 & 300 watt settings were still 100 - 150 watts more than claimed - the different becomes less on higher power settings. This seems like a lot of wasted energy if its not going into the heating element. Combo - The low power mode should be permanent setting so that it applies to the power used for all other functions (it would not be practical for the 50W setting though - heating would take too long.
Overall - a unique device, and I think it will simply stay in the kitchen as it makes tea so well, but with a bit of an update on the controller it could really be great - & the cons could be addressed in the heating controller. & Again... apart from saying that the heating element inside should be covered with water, no warning about possible damage to the kettle if it does boil dry or if it resets.
Our best kettle purchase in 30 years – We purchased this kettle 3 months ago as it was the only completely plastic free option we could find. It is used multiple times daily and has been faultless. I was sceptical about how hot the handle might be to use , but happily discovered that there is minimal if any heat transfer. It pours beautifully, and you do not need to hold the stainless… Read more
steel lid in place while doing so . I especially like how quiet it is when boiling. When reading about the 4 minute continued boil function I wasn't overly excited about any potential benefits to that. However I have since realised that it is fantastic when family members follow behind you to make there own Beveridge. We also have one tea drinking fanatic in our family who loves the lower temperature options. We were so pleased with the product that one month after buying it for ourselves we sent one to our daughter in Sydney. ( we wanted to encourage her in the benefits of not boiling water in plastics that can leach chemicals into your liquids.) We continue to highly recommend this item to all our friends. We hesitated in outlaying the original rrp of About 145. While considering it, we saw it advertised on sale. We did subsequently purchase on a 50% off sale at Harris scarfe and feel that it was an exceptional buy . Very very happy with it.
Does not seem to memorise user settings – Most times I just want hot water. The default setting just sits at 500W I set it to 800W and I have to do this every time I want water. I would like to just press ONE button to turn it on. Practically not the best. It is a shame because it seems to be a great little kettle Show details
Only worked once – Only worked once. Have tried multiple times to use it again but it just beeps and doesn’t do anything. Was planning on returning it after my work trip but missed the deadline by a day. Don’t waste your money. Show details
A great and useful product for tea drinkers – This glass kettle does everything I want it to. It makes my tea to the desired temperature and then maintains it at the temperature I want for as long as I want. It's a great product and quite inexpensive too.
