Does The Job – Needed a DVD reader and writer as my new laptop did not come with one. After doing some research I purchase this one a few weeks ago. Shelf price was $89.00, I paid $69.00 for it. It comes with basic sofware that allows you to copy discs and do a few other basic things but you will need your own DVD authoring software to create a DVD. It works as it should and I recommend it.
