Broken after 3 walks – One of the worst bits is you need to put it together when you get it you have to put it together. Everytime I got to use it there’s another problem. The first one was a battery then now I have no idea. No after service care. I do not recommend buying it Show details

This is a review for the Lifespan Dymo – I couldn't find the Lifespan Dymo on PR but it was worth the effort to review it. I have had this treadmill for years and it is still going. Although I regret buying another piece of exercise equipment that turns into a clothes hanger, at least it has been long lasting and reliable. Good for walkers and people with limited space because it… Read more

has a narrow base. Just remember to leave the recommended space empty behind it for safety as, with any treadmill, you could come off the end.

Wonderful treadmill - very pleased - excellent value for money – I purchased this treadmill on ebay for only $660.00 and I'm so glad I did. It has a extra wide belt ( 540mm) and it's very good quality ( like those found in a gym). It's great for walking and suitable for running. My husband runs on it and he is 110kg so it's very heavy duty. It's a great treadmill for the money.

Ok for walkers – Probably an ok machine if you want to walk, programs are useless for running fitness- yep all 99 of them. Basically programs are 2, 4, 5, km per hour variation with some incline with a tiny bit of running once or twice in program - hopeless if you want to try and do hill training program at a slow jog/ run or interval sprints program. Also… Read more

incline appears to be in numbers rather than percentage so again, it's useless if you're training for a race with 7% incline hills.

The machine is nice and quiet and would be a good option for walkers. It's pretty quiet for a treadmill. Programs are no good for runners, incline appears to be just random numbers rather than percentage, slow down off higher speeds takes quite a while,

Great for home use – I got the Lifespan torque treamill off ebay and am really happy with it. It has a very sturdy design so that people 100kg+ can jog on it without it straining. It doesn't wobble around when you are jogging at high speeds and feels solid under foot. The screen is very clear with easy to read large numbers for your speed and smaller but equally… Read more

clear numbering for the other items which are distance, time, calories burned and your heart rate.

My ipod plays nicely through the mp3 plug, but music volume is done through the ipod so if you don't want to interrupt your jog to fiddle around you should have the music volume set before you start.

Negatives - there is no warm down function. The 'book holder' is a lot shorter than it looks in the promotional pics and wouldn't hold anything heavier than a thin magazine and it is over an arms length away when walking (due to being above/behind the screen) so most people would struggle to read the fine print of a magazine when walking anyway. It is good for sticking promotional pics on or to throw a towel over.

My main peeve is that the running surface makes quite a loud swoosh noise when it is on, so you have to really crank the tv/music to be able to hear it, and you can't really go for a jog in the early morning without waking others up.

Otherwise though, I find it really easy to use, there are a good variety of programs and the wide running belt is fantastic for people like me who can lose concentration and move around a bit while jogging. The sides are also plenty wide for standing on if you need to do up laces etc.

I would recommend this treadmill for home users, including serious runners so long as you don't mind the swoosh sound of the belt. I'm very pleased with my purchase though. Sturdy build, wide running surface, clear screen Belt makes a loud swooshing noise, book holder a bit useless

Good machine can not beat features for price – [link removed] I just bought a Lifespan Torque treadmill and would like to share my experience on this machine since when I was looking to buy it I could not find any reviews about it. Lifespan Torque treadmill review First the assembly was easy, I did it alone but would recommend to have an extra hand to get it out of the box. Time to… Read more ·  2

assemble was less than 25 minutes. the instructions are ok, but the drawings are a bit small to clearly see where to put the bolts.

I had to adjust the motor cover since the belt was touching it , it was a very simple 2 screw loose and rethighten procedure.

I lubricated the belt with silicon spray bought at Masters for $6 brand 3in1. (came with extension tube) This was a very simple job. There is a lot of videos about it online, but for this one is easier to do it on the side with the belt turning at low speed.

Today used the machine for 6k....I like the 3hp motor since it makes the machine very quiet. Speakers are not the best but you want the machine for running right?

One thing I am disappointed is with the heart rate sensors, when you hold them measurement starts at 70 bpm and you have to keep holding them until around 2 minutes later it gives you the 130 reading that I was getting from my polar watch.

Other thing I noticed is that the speed seems to be displayed higher than actual, I have used different treadmills in gym and I think this one was giving me a higher speed, I will try to see how to check it and post my result.

So far happy with this machine! Motor, display, programs. Hearth rate takes too long for reading.

Great treadmill – I bought this treadmill a few months ago because it seemed to be a bargain. After owning it and running on it daily I was right. It is a very sturdy machine and quite good looking too. It has an extremely easy to use display and the running mat is fantastic. I would recommend this machine to anybody. great display, sturday and easy to use none so far
