I discovered The Coast Seniors Centre at Little Bay three years ago and what a fantastic organization it is for everyone over 55. So many activities from exercise, dance, art, languages, walking and excursions just to mention a few. There is no excuse to be a lonely senior if you live in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Check out their website for all they are offering. I am 78 and enjoy Chair Yoga and Dancersize and I am now part of a group from 55 to 85 that perform at nursing homes and retirement villages. Such fun with lovely new friends.
Follow-up · My favourite classes are Chair Yoga and Dancersize, but there are so many activities to choose from. You just have to come along and try something and you will be hooked. So many lovely new people to meet, who are there to make life enjoyable, with so much to look forward to each week. What a buzz to entertain at Nursing Homes as they just so enjoyed the music of their youth that we chose to entertain them with.
