competitive loan rate. The loan switch was super easy, with the Loan base slick process.

Then 12 months later, Andrew helped take another 0.35% off when I locked in a 2 year fixed rate. Both times Westpac my long term bank, were not able to get close. The Loan Base deals were better than Westpac's owner occupier P&I loan, and my Westpac Premier account manager could not believe I got a deal so low.

I then began to research options to buy a new principal place of residence. Andrew tirelessly helped map out all the scenarios, giving me great advice as to the benefits/risks for each one. As things changed over the next few months, Andrew happily revised the proposal over and over again, to make sure they were always accurate. Throughout this process it was like being a VIP that has a personal banker. Despite having lots of clients, Andrew knew my exact financial situation, just as well as I did. I have no idea how he retains so much information about his client's finances, but it's incredible.

When I was ready to purchase, it was a very complex deal, with multiple simultaneous sales of existing properties, and a revaluation of an existing investment property. I had absolute confidence on making the winning bid, knowing that my borrowing capacity was 100% verified, and that Loanbase would make sure that everything happened on time, an in sequence to close the deal.

I bought an amazing home and could not have done it without Andrew's fantastic advice and customer service over the last few months!

seriously did not want to touch us and lend us money. We wanted to get a place as our place was just too small with the addition of a new born. It also didn't help with the exponential growth in property prices that Sydney went through in the first quarter of 2021. Leo G. and the team at Loanbase assessed our documents and provided us options on banks which could lend us given our messy scenario. We honestly thought we were doomed and had to wait till the wife got back to work. Throughout the whole process from pre-approval, unconditional approval and settlement, Leo G. was prompt and clear with his communication, and went the extra-mile to follow up with the banks to get updates on the approvals or where things were at. This whole process of buying a house surely is nerve racking and I was at ease with the whole process as I was guided with the requirements of each step. Leo G. has definitely given us the confidence we needed to navigate through all of this! At first it was daunting, and I had my reservations... They did an exemplary job, helping us through the process, even when we doubted we would be able to break free from our existing loans. The rates they secured for us, special bonus as customers and ongoing fees (nil) were nothing short of amazing and in hindsight, only top brokers could have secured the rates we got (I tried prior with banks but they were having none of it).

The ongoing support and feedback, even when the loan was completed, again was wonderful to see, not many companies I have dealt with in the past want anything more to do with you when they have received their commission. They helped chase up loose ends and provided further advice without hesitation.

So, if you're in the market for a competitive rate, want the confidence that a reliable team will do all the hard work, research and give solid advice, I totally recommend loan base.

It was a bonus as they have set us to a bank that offered a huge cashback, not one of the big 4 banks, and are among the institutions that offer lowest variable interest rate in the market.
