Logitech S715i Rechargeable

A pleasant surprise – For the price this turned out to be way better than my expectations. It has great sound, is easy to use, very portable. Would recommend to those with budget of this price range, you will be happy with the purchase. significantly weaker if it is not plugged in to mains power. It comes with dock for iphone. Get a bluetooth dongle and make this a wireless device. We have done that and it is awesome.

It does come with a bag but the velcro is pretty small, so small it can open by itself and the speaker will fall out. I added a large velcron and handle making it much better and an extra 2 compartments, one for bluetooth dongle and another for the remote.

Despite the shortcomings identified, I do really like this unit. The sound is powerful, sweet (ie not piercing) and stereo imaging is good. It is practical with no cloth cover but proper plastic grille and good rubber feet.

Worked properly twice! – This docking station was great...twice! It now does not connect with my iPhone 4S. It simply does not work. This is extremely disappointing and I would never recommend anyone waste their hard earned dollars on one! Maybe I just have a crook one but it still does not work and I have no access to all my music so I have to rate this device and brand as a zero! It does not work!

won't accommodate the extra width of that so i have to take the hard case off my ipod classic before using the dock. other than that i'm happy with this compact unit and I recommend it. sound and portability. lightweight.

Logitech iPod dock – This is a good ipod dock for a decent price, I had a look around, i was going to go for a jbl ipod dock, but this is a great design & good sound quality, the bad thing is that it has no fm radio, alarm clock & no bulit in Eq, but apart from that, Very good ipod dock for my needs Good Sound, Good Design, decent price no fm radio, alarm clock & no built in eq, volume & bass reduces while on battery

not recognized by this dock. I own 2 iPod Touches and an iPhone 4. Both iPod Touches are not recognized at all whereas with the iPhone 4 it plays music flawlessly! I tested an iPod Shuffle and this worked flawlessly as well which doesn't really make much sense. The Touch is an iPod which is meant to be supported. Reading up on several forums you will find that I'm not alone. Apparently Logitech are aware of the issue but its an Apple restriction in the iOS firmware. Unfortunately for those of you with iPod Touches you will need to wait until Apple decides to rectify this issue in a firmware update....that's if they decide to rectify the issue at all. All in all though this dock is fantastic. Unbelievable sound and almost no distortion at full volume! Really great looking dock as well. surprisingly loud with minimal amounts of distortion at full volume. Whilst plugged in you can use it to charge your ipod/iphone (iPhone4 Compatible) so it quickly replaced my other alarm clock (PureFi Anytime).

Unplugged, the rear subs turn off and you only get the front six speakers. The sound is still very good, and you will be hard pressed to find another portable device this small that produces such good sound.

There is an auxillary stereo input for other non "i" devices, so it's great to watch a movie in the park/beach whatever...

The nimh battery is rated for 6 - 8 hours. I've never played it constantly for that long, but for the 4 hours or so at the beach full blast it didn't miss a beat. I have found after 6 months of owning that the battery seems to run out of charge quicker, still over 4 hours, but i'll turn it on and it'll show red more often showing that's it's low on charge. One thing that is great about it is that this battery is very easily replaceable and is around the $50 mark from JayCar. Considering that most of the other docks are not replaceable (unless you wanna crack it open) this is very good. All in all - fantastic sound, good looking, very portable dock. Light, loud, portable, iPhone 4 compatible, great sound. Would prefer to sacrifice battery time to have full power to all 8 speakers when not plugged in. A switch to turn subs on and off would be great.

and 8 hours, and although I have yet to have it play for this length of time before supporting it with power backup, runs well for several hours that I have tried.

It comes with a pouch cover to hold the unit, electric cable and remote control.I would definitely recommend.... Sound quality
