and was not provided with alternative contact methods when those links failed. There was no capacity to leave voicemail messages outside business hours, effectively forcing customers into a single communication channel with no backup if it broke.
Emails were acknowledged without meaningful information or timeframes. Even allowing for the Christmas/New Year period, this was very poor customer relationship management.
When Harry the franchisee for my area, attended on 19 January 2026, I raised these communication concerns. Rather than being addressed professionally, the discussion escalated. During the visit, my furniture was handled carelessly, with protective coverings and cushions placed on wet ground.
Harry stated that he did not need the work and could walk away from the job, then left without completing any repairs and without restoring the chair to the condition in which he found it.
The issue was not a single message or misunderstanding, but systemic communication failures and an unwillingness to engage constructively with reasonable client feedback.
Based on this experience, I would not use this service again.
We contacted the Lounge Repair Guys to repair a saggy leather sofa. The booking service was very efficient. Based on my description of the problem they were able to give me an estimate over the phone. The technician (Daniel) arrived on time, explained the repairs, and got stuck into it. He also explained what he was doing as he worked, which was helpful. He was neat, thorough, and did an excellent job. The sofa suspension is now good-as-new.
Hopeless. First visit took months to arrange and only happened after the supplier pressured them. Second visit, the tech turned up before the advised time, made no effort to see if anyone was home (I had just gone out into the back garden to feed the dogs), and just left, leaving a text message. Totally disorganised and not worth the hassle. Now no doubt it will take months to get them back to finish the job.
Very happy with my lounge repair it is like a brand new lounge. The webbing and foam was replaced on my leather lounge as it was very saggy and gave me a sore back, plus it was hard to actually get out of. Martin did and excellent job and the price was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Lounge Repair Guys I could not be happier.

Caloundra on time and he explained what needed to be repaired. Answered our questions and the final decline was as recliner was more than 5 years old.
Absolutely terrible service, can't contact the repair man in Townsville and can't contact the head office in Brisbane. This is for a warranty claim for recliner brought from Amart. I will be taking this to the accc.

Awful Customer Service – The staff at this company are rude, unreasonable and argumentative. Their expectation is that you block out your entire day to wait to be advised when they can fit you in on their run for the day. No real world solution's or compromises offered.
Ruined lounge – First time couple yrs ago gr8 service … 2nd time 8 mths ago ruined my lounge by using circular electric brush to supposedly clean after gluing split now more cracks n dry… don’t own up to mistake n very rude on phone… won’t send photos

huge hole in the seat and is only 3 weeks old is a minor issue. AND then refuse to provide the consumer with a copy. When requesting the report they simply state that it is the property of Plush????? How does the ACCC not shut down dodgy business' like this. Beware if you hear this company is coming to your house for an inspection of a lounge.
Don't Trust Their Warranty – Recently had two repairs done to my lounge cushions. Requested the whole seam be re-stitched, but tech insisted on only stitching the split and said their warranty covered further repairs if the stitching adjacent was to split again. Rudest customer Service I ever experienced! – Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever come across!
