late install. Very poor communication. Hopefully the actual gazebo has been worth all the trouble. They also held the remote as a ransom for the full payment. This went beyond a COVID issue as there was a contract and went way later than what was promised.

Unbelievable customer service – We have had a Louvre House controlled pergola for 12 years and it has been fantastic - never a thing wrong with it until the remote was accidentally left in the rain and subsequently died. David at Louvre House went above and beyond to find a fix for us. Thoroughly recommend this company for not only supplying a great product but for its superior after-sales support. Thank you.

This is exactly what we were looking for – We wanted a louvre system for our back deck and BBQ area. Louvre house were one of three companies who came to have a look and one of two Companies that actually gave us a quote. We found the staff and contractors were friendly and professional to deal with and the installation occurred in a timely fashion. We can't wait to put the system to use in Spring and after.

Brilliant flexible home entertaining solution - so glad we invested! – The team from Louvre House were very professional from the outset to the final installation. The design process and council approval was all handled well and project delivered on time and on budget. We are really happy we decided to invest in this all weather entertaining solution as it's increased our usage of our new pool outdoor area to all year round.

sun roof – Have had the roof for nearly 6 months. Couldnt be happier with the service we got. Husband had a stroke before we signed the final plans, Chris was very patient with him as he was left with speech problems he was difficult to understand but Chris was very understanding and helped. The quality of the roof is so good and have recommended the product to our friends.

Appalling customer service, buyer beware!!!!! – Unfinished roof the company will not complete as per agreement. Incompetent management brushed us off, European motor as promised is made China. Paid extra to receive better service and product but failed in providing a 10 warranty as a promise. All promise and no delivery, caution buy at your own risk.

the features of their system (apparently patented, the builder later told us). The overlapping blades hook over each other with a felt/brush seal to stop rattling in high winds and end caps have a slight ridge on them so water drips in the internal gutter and doesn't run back over the deck. We like the fact the rain sensor was standard too.

Our deck area is an odd shape - a rectangle & triangle put together with one corner cut off - 5 sides with not many 90 degree angles. Peter (salesman) came up with a good design that we didn't think of, that actually gave us above 3 m2 of extra area and solved a few issues of when fitting Ziptrak blinds later (with another company).

We looked at a display at a Homemaker Centre in Melbourne and it was obviously a quality product.

I also thought I'd email the Head office in Adelaide to see their level of service/response. I asked some technical questions around the motors used (since that seems to be a weak point if there is one). Shane the General Manager replied with all the info I was looking for. This gave us even more confidence to sign a contract with LH.

The design process took a bit longer than we initially thought it would. We did request that some of the items discussed with Peter and at the check measure be put on the plans so nothing was forgot - LH were more than happy to add all items we requested.

It was getting close to XMas and we didn't want to start a build before, so requested a date in Jan 2019 which they were more than happy to work to. Ended up being the week after which worked for us.

Albert did our build and we couldn't be happier. It was an interesting process seeing it come together - especially since more than half of the blades in our single bank of louvres had to be cut on an angle due to the odd shaped deck area.

We've also had a 3.7m louvre screen installed by Louvre House since the roof was finished. Again, a great quality product all hand cut made to measure on site.

Over 3 months later, having had some rain, the roof/screens are performing great.

I’m confident the initial issues won’t be experienced by other customers, there seems to have been a reshuffle in the Adelaide business and the staff are excellent.

We are very happy with the finish and the design.

excellent, the product is fabulous and will give us year round protection from the elements - the roof coped beautifully with 40mm of rain in half an hour last week. The lead time from when the contract was signed to the actual build was 6 months, however our expectations were managed through almost weekly updates from Julia on the council planning approval process. Our tradesman Matt was fantastic - friendly, knowledgable and terrific workmanship. The build took 5 days in which he worked early starts and or late finishes depending on the weather in order to finish for a party we were hosting at the end of the week. Faulty Motor – Very happy with the installation process and service but after having the product installed for 17 months the motor stopped working. They need to put more energy in developing a stronger motor .

Professional from start to finish – The level of professionalism from start to finish was second to none. Julia kept us informed throughout the entire process. The longer version- after receiving various quotes, I signed a contract with a Louvre House sales consultant even though their quote was the second highest. I thought I would receive superior construction. All downhill from there. Construction was delayed by several weeks but the first part was going okay until I was informed that a delivery would be arriving in a few days. The delivery was of materials from a different company to the one which the consultant and I had agreed upon. In my opinion and that of a subcontractor, this company provided an inferior product.

As a result of this, I made a claim against Louvre House/Trio Nominees at VCAT and won, which they paid in the weeks following. I banked the cheque and presumed that this was the finish of the matter. I subsequently received a letter from VCAT saying Louvre House claimed there was an error of calculation and I had to return to VCAT. VCAT again ruled there was no error. I had to pay an additional $389.30 fee to VCAT for Louvre House frivolous, incorrect claim, as well as taking a further day off work. (The VCAT Member was sympathetic and will try to get it refunded to me). Again, I would not recommend Louvre House for any of your construction needs.

The design consultant was professional, on time and prompt.

They had very good product knowledge, and support me in making decision in creating a fantastic outdoor area for my home.

The louvers are top quality and I was very happy with the workmanship.

I have met the owners’ and dealt with many of the staff, and a thrilled to see that they are all great people to work with.

Its certainly pleasing to see a business that is out there, looking after their customers and delivering value for money.

The louvre house kit – I ordered the kit to prevent a $10K install; what a disaster. No screws, rivets, nuts, instructions except for the louvre assembly, missing components, incorrect colour posts, beams which were not cut to size, incorrect plan, 3m panels which ranged from 2.90 to 3.10, brackets which had to be cut from lengths of rail. All Promise! Poor Service and Build! – We contracted to have a verandah with 3 sections of louvre panels. This job started early Oct 2013. that was what we have to accept. After a number of weeks we were told that they could fix it a bit but we had to pay. We refused and after mentioning going to builders disputes and us accepting numerous variations did work recommence. This process took 6 weeks!! So now a 3 week job has taken 9 weeks. Even after the work started again ,numerous mistakes and the build again not being done to plan, causing more delays. After changing the plans and us accepting the variations( so we could get the job finished) the structure was finally finished although we had eaves/bulkheads not straight/square/level. Then they sent the painter to do the plastering as well as the painting. Any amateur could have done a better job. So once again we informed Louvre House of our dissappointment. After another few weeks and very little urgency by Louvre House we suggested them giving us a discounted rate so we could finally move on and get the job finished by some competant tradespeople.

The whole process has taken nearly 5 months and the job is still an eyesore!!! At no time has Louvre house given us a written apology nor even a written ackknowledgement!

If i can warn anyone considering using Louvre house, make suer you check the contract and plans and continue during the build checking measurements and the plans..

Some of the staff are empathetic, however the decision makers appear to lack any care to there customers. The actual louvre system is fantastic The lack of responsibility by the company in accepting poor workmanship
