Lowenstein Prisma20A

Never going back. Just upgraded from the resmed 10a. While the 10a is a great machine the prisma 20A is far superior. Episodes down to only 2an hour and the gentleness of the prisma gives me the best night's sleep ever. Cannot recommend it more. For me it is the best purchase ever.

CRAZY GOOD – What a FANTASTICLY BRILLIANT machine! I have the Prisma 20A (unit), Prisma Aqua (humidifier),Heated 19-22mm hose, Prisma Cloud (modem) & Bag. The actual unit is triangular shaped as is the humidifier. The modem securely attaches to the end of the main unit. It has a very easy to read touchscreen. Some might say it's a Big, Heavy, Chunky machine but I dont care as it sits on my bedside table. It screams quality, being a German company. The humidifier takes 400ml easily enough water for two nights. The humidifier heater is a removable rod It detaches easily from the main unit by pressing a nice big button. Theres a bit of an awakard catch to release the tank but having Arthritisit hasn't presented a problem, yet. The airpump motors are made here in Australia and are crazy quiet. All the accessories have large easy to push buttons to remove them and have a reassuring CLICK when reattached. It seems that the Prisma has been designed to be effortless. Crazy quiet, fantastic algorithms, exudes quality.

Quietest machine available – For my CPAP trial I tried ResMed, Lowenstein and BMC. The Lowenstein was by far the quietest machine of the three, and I also felt much better using it - the pressures felt too high on the ResMed and too low on the BMC. Additionally you can tell it is a well built machine made in Germany and is going to last. It’s not the cheapest machine available but worth every penny in my opinion.
