A stylish looking fan that is let down by its ineffectiveness to suck in hot air – I have built a brand new home and had 5 of these installed. I have a warm to hot shower for about 4 minutes with the main bathroom exhaust fan on, as well as WC exhaust fan on (about 3 metres apart) yet every single time there are multiple dew marks on the walls and doors, and the mirror fogs up. Our designated building inspector got into the roof cavity and the air is sucking in there, but not actually from the bathrooms, WC or laundry. I was told by the building inspector that I need to open a window for it to work more effectively and that there is nothing they can do as they have installed it correctly and that it must just be the fan.
What a waste of money upgrading to this 'high flow' exhaust fan.

Hi Cad, your inspector is correct in saying you need a window (or door slightly ahar) to be able to have the transfer of air in the room.
