Terrible experience with a terrible business model. 'LuggageHero' charges you for the "service" of storing your bags in the backroom of one or another convenience store for a few hours--something, notably, most pubs or hotels will do for free. At any rate, I'd booked as I needed to store 2 suitcases while I organised some other stuff. My flight landed late, and I didn't have time to waste getting to whichever particular tobacconist I'd been directed to trust with my effects, and frankly didn't have time to bother cancelling what would've been a $12-16 booking.

My surprise, when I was later charged nearly $30 for a service I never used, was palpable. This "no show" fee could best be described as a s#cker charge, one I've copped for being silly enough to trust yet another online 'service' to do something I'd normally expect to have been free. I cannot recommend staying away from this product enough. I'm sure that if I had stored luggage it'd have been held to ransom, and I'd be fist-fighting pirates to have it liberated by now. Weird, unscrupulous, and a frankly silly business model which will waste your time, money, and energy. 0 stars - 1 star for effort and a pretty website.

Deceptive booking practice and insecure "storage". I thought I was leaving my bags in lockers at Southern Cross Station, because that's what I selected. Not until after I had paid was I given the address of a local cafe near the station, where the bags were on display in front of the counter, in plain view and easy access of everyone who walked in to buy food that day. The only security was the very young (and very pleasant it must be said) teenage girls behind the counter. I would eat there, but I am one and done with Luggage Hero.
