Lytworx 640 LED Warm White Snowing Net Light

Snowing Effect?!? Nah, not a chance – I was looking for a curtain of lights to hang on the garage door, to fill that large void at the front of the house at Christmas. The Lytworx 640 LED Net Lights seemed a great choice, 1.8m high and 4.8m wide, it would fit perfectly and best of all it was described as having a "Snowing Effect" - just perfect! I got them out of the box to test them on the kitchen bench, but when I tried I didn't see the end-to-end effect I expected. Though still wrapped in a 1.8m strip, I expected to see a movement in one direction but they only seemed to flick back and forth.

I didn't want to completely unwrap them so I looked on-line for a video. I found one by Lytworx on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Ae1NlWagxlk) but what I saw was extremely disappointing, quite pathetic really.

Perhaps the Lytworx product designers have never seen snow but I have and it doesn't just flicker inanely side to side, it tends to go down... you know... due to gravity.

To try to suggest that this net has a Snowing Effect is utter garbage. The closest it came was at highest speed when it maybe had a slight sideways effect, perhaps like in a blizzard (yeah, right!)!

Luckily, Bunnings took the product back, because I don't want sideways flickering lights, I wanted snow effect.
