McGuigan Zero Sauvignon Blanc

Hate to say it, but this is a clear fail – I really wanted to be able to say something good about this. People sometimes would like to have a glass of wine, but for a myriad of reasons don't want the alcohol. And people who don't drink would like an alternative to soft drinks, fruit juice or grape juice. Sadly this is not it. The appearance is good...pale yellow tinged with green, but the nose is fairly neutral...virtually no grassy, gooseberry Sauv Blanc character. And then there is the taste...not totally dry but quite acidic with no Sauv blanc flavours at all. What is there is highly muted grape juice flavour with, as has been said by Ross, a vinegary character. It is totally inadequate as a wine substitute, and also as a grape juice substitute. You would honestly be better off having a glass of soda water! VERDICT: Kudos for an attempt, but a complete fail. Avoid!

Nothing like a sav blanc – This doesn’t taste like a wine at all to sweet and not even a good grape juice , Awful ! Never to but again not worth the price and the assault on taste buds

Disgusting – Not tolerating alcohol lately so I bought this wine hoping for the taste of wine without the alcohol. Oh my gosh, it was horrible! What a disappointment, it’s going down the sink.
Purchased in at Woolworths Physical store for $10.
Tastes nothing like the product description and has a decided vinegary aftertaste – I spent $10.00 on a bottle of this wine. Extremely underwhelmed and very disappointed. Nothing like the description and more akin to a bottle of vinegar. Will definitely not recommend.

Cats Wee – One sip sent me back off the wagon. A vile tasting drop best reserved for the weeds in the garden, Waste of $12 , hopefully the drain will appreciate it more.
