metabo average – Good strong working power but inferior bearings ( no sealed bearings just o ring to keep dust out which perish with heat) and very bad service in South Africa and spares too expensive to consider repairs.This was not on a grinder but on the rotary hammer drill KHE 2851 i am very disapointed and will rather go for another brand in future  Show details

Good – Still happy with it although disappointed motor didn't last longer. I've researched others and it seems this is still one of the best grinders available. I'm going out next week to buy another one. I also have two 5" Metabo grinders which I have had for 7 years and get a lot more work than this one. Reliable over several years of light trade work

Excellent warranty (3 years) Motor died on me, but this was after 6 years of light trade work. Not used every day by any means, but occassionally got some fairly heavy work
