Good and bad like most things – I have had this bag for 3 years now. I play weekly and sometimes twice a week plus a few trips away where I will play 4 rounds. If you must have one of these bags I would recommend turning over the bag at the end of the warranty period and getting another each season. I haven't found the bag to be durable externally. I was impressed with the bag… Read more

due to its lightweight and waterproof nature initially. The big insulated cooler pocket is handy and it has a good amount of storage pockets. The putter tube and umbrella if placed in the pocket impact on the volume of the large side pockets. The bag lock to the base of the trolley is vitally important to stability on the trolley and works perfectly. I am now looking for another bag to fit my MGI Zip Navigator mainly due to the poorly wearing bag material and deterioration of the waterproof coating. The wear is most noticeable where the top strap fits around the neck. The bag material also scuffs and abrades in other places as it is very thin resulting in compromised waterproofing upon contact with objects. The zippers have stood up well with no issues (unlike the MGI accessory cooler bag which has flimsy zipper hardware). The snap clips have not failed or corroded at all. I have used this bag on a motorised cart a bit but the top rangefinder pocket is in the wrong place for standard cart straps and this has resulted in a tear/cut where the bottom of the cart restraint strap cuts into the zipper seam. The bag side pockets are hard to access when the bag is on a cart with another bag also. It isn't suited to use on motorised carts at all for these reasons. The rivet holding the umbrella holder tube to the bag was a weak point and broke early in the piece due to travelling over bumps/rough terrain on the trolley so the tube flops around. I stopped using it in case it starts to tear and because the tube collar damages coated and graphite/composite putter shafts as it is a hard collar. Not an issue with uncoated stainless shafts. As others have said the rain cover is too tight and the zip is exposed to the weather. The club dividers do grab the club handles at times (going in and out) and this is especially problematic when the rain cover is fitted. I have had the bag so saturated in rain that there was ingress but no bag would have withstood these conditions. Get the MGI Zip Bag Cover accessory thst fits to the trolley if you play in the rain is my suggestion. You don't need a waterproof bag then anyway.

Is there a better bag? – Had the mgi dri play bag for 18 mths now and used once or twice a week on my zip x5 buggy. On the plus side. 1. It is waterproof 2. It is lightweight 3. It locks onto buggy 4. Zips easy to use On the minus side 1. Putter well and umbrella sheath make long side pockets useless. 2. Raincover made for ride on buggy.ie wrong opening for zip x5. 3. No… Read more

front top handle 4. Full length club dividers flimsy and catch on club grips. 5. Club dividers no good for oversize grips. 6. Colour rubs off parts of bag too easily.

Poor flimsy construction – I have been using the bag for just over 5 months and while it is waterproof, the neck has started to show signs of extreme wear and is starting to collapse. The construction of the neck is clearly poorly designed with insufficient padding using inferior quality materials. It is unlikely to last more than a few months. Contacted MGI and Golfbox but… Read more

they consider it normal wear which is an acknowledgement of the poor construction and materials used.

Another good MGI product let down by selective bad design – A very good high volume bag which is actually very waterproof, and as promised, fits to the MGI Navigator perfectly. Disappointingly, the whole bag is undermined by two glaring design flaws. Firstly, the detachable hood, which is essential in the rain, doesn’t have enough volume to fully zip over my clubs. And secondly, the putter tube and… Read more

umbrella sleeve both seriously impede access to the high volume long shoulder pockets. It’s a shame that these two hurdles prevent a 5 star rating as they really do detract from the utility of the product.

A good all round bag! – The MGI Dri Play bag has lots of great features. I don't like playing in the rain but this bag makes it easier. The fact you only need to put the hood on when it rains is so quick and simple. I love the individual slots for each club , makes it easy to get clubs in and out. I must admit I changed the club arrangement a few times as it slots… Read more

allow for many combinations. I like the Putter holder but it does make access to the side pocket a little tricky, just need to be conscious of what is put into this pocket. Love how it fits so well into my MGI Zip Navigator AT.

Tesla of Electric Golf Cart – I love this cart. Very easy to use, has long battery life. Can play on a flat course for 3 - 18 holes & still the battery has 2 Bars left with 4 bars full charge. Easy to maneuver & the remote control range is more than 100 yards. My friends rave about its design & use. Show details

Perfect Golf Bag, Light and Waterproof – I've had my MGI Zip Navigator AT buggy for just over a year. I've now played my first game of golf with an MGI Dri Play golf bag attached to the buggy and I couldn't be a happier golfer. This bag is just so light and doesn't twist around on the buggy because of locking mechanism between the bag and the buggy. My old bag used to twist around and be… Read more

side-on to the buggy which often caused some stress when trying to pull out a club. No more frustrations now, the Dri Play bag has a full length tube for each club in the bag. The bag itself has ample pockets for everything a golfer needs including a cooler bag for drinks and two bags for valuables. Another big plus about this bag is it's waterproof. Even the zip pockets are sealed. It didn't rain at all when I first played with this bag on my buggy so I sent my buggy through a few sprinklers on the course and everything inside the pockets stayed as dry as a bone. My golf is now more pleasurable and definitely less stressful.

Rain? No problem – It would have been perfect if clubs do not get stuck when pulling them out or even if pushing them down to their slots. Otherwise, good match to my all black zip buggy. Show details

Great bag – Pockets a little flimsy & they tend to collapse inward if empty but other than that superb. The water proof zip seals work well in showers but do not know yet how bag would perform in prolonged heavy rainfall. Show details

Really waterproof – While some claim to be waterproof, have found they are not - whereas this product has proven that it is! Highly recommend to others, and ir is well priced for quality provided.

Once Sceptical, now convert – Was wary of 'waterproof' tags , especially on bags, but have been playing through some heavy downpoors this season and bag is just great ! No water in bottom of pockets anymore, and just drop dries without any further cleaning etc. Just makes it so easy to play with access to all pockets on a rainy day, without having to use a cumbersome plastic cover. Show details

Lite and waterproof – The Dri Play golf bag is very lite and waterproof. It has more pockets than most other competitors who sell waterproof bags. This is a big selling point. The price of the bag is excellent when you compare it to other waterproof bags. Show details

Good but could be better – Great design. Really well appointed pockets, pouches and slots. Great looking too and the perfect companion to your Zip buggy. But the waterproofing frays and cracks way too easily. Please improve it! Show details

Best support ever – I recently bought a Navigator AT to prolong my playing career. It was the best decision golf wise. An issue did appear after a while, but being an Australian product and having weekly support staff visiting Power Golf I was up and running within a week. Great support.

Love this bag! – I bought this bag to save having 2 bags, 1 for winter and one for summer. this bag has loads of room and has not let a drop of water in since I got it. I could not be happier with the lay out of the pockets and overall functionality of the bag. Show details

Magical – Easy to use, responds well to the remote - though remote buttons are too embedded and need to protrude more for ease of touch. Has greatly eased my walk around the course. Show details
