Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 1000

OK – After 3 months of working on it I believe Microsoft should come up with more featured, more buttons mouse with the same price. In the market, I found similar computer mice of course with similar features with 15 $. Moreover, I liked USB wired instead of wireless to avoid changing batteries and easier, more convenient office use. In terms of quality, it is great and it is durable. Until now I still have it with me and it is still working.
It is great to consider either hands option in designing this mouse. Also, the use of the optical technology is the latest in the mice industry. What I like on it is the easy of its install and its functional simplicity. I like it to be wired. What I dislike about it is that it very big. However, it is not big enough to lift my wrist from mouse pad.
Good – It's a good mouse of general basic computer tasks, quite good control and precision. Haven't had any real problems with it yet. It's very good value, recommended retail price about twenty dollars or so, and I managed to get mine on special which was only eight dollars. It's very easy to install, you just plug it into a USB port and you're ready to go. Good value for money, nice design, can be used in either hand, reasonably good quality, easy to install and use The mouse clicks are quite loud and if you have one of those flat plastic mouse pads it doesn't work properly
Bad – It lasted about 12 months before I started seeing real problems. After 12 months, it started getting a bit skippy (cursor would randomly flick to the top of the screen) and sensitivity declined from there. Towards the end of its life, I had to tap it against the desk if I hadn't used it for a few minutes to get it working again. Also, it's a little bit too light which can get a little annoying if you're used to more weight. Cheap and easy to install. Mouse sensitivity is pretty low, also tends to jump a bit on certain coloured surfaces.
Quality isn't all that great.
