Don't buy this useless piece of equipment. I had it sitting in my cupboard for about a year and finally pulled it out a month ago, have used it three times and on the third time I could smell an electrical smell and then it triggered our power off to the whole house. It's not that nice anyway the way pastry comes out.

Best thing I have ever bought. Does not take long to cook, have done savoury and sweet rolls and love the size of rolls. Easy to clean, do not overfill pastry. Show details

Don't buy this! – This machine is impossible to clean to a standard needed for food. Don't buy it. I ended up unplugging, unscrewing it, found how much juices/fat/etc had leaked into the handles. Yuck! This machine was used twice. It's now in the garbage. Show details

More than meets the pie (eye) – Picked this up for five dollars. Satisfactorily tackles the humble apple pie. Will be experimenting with savory fillings next. Happy.

Get what you pay for – This item cost me $10 from Woolies. I should've known better. It doesn't cook the pastry no matter how long it's in there for. It leaks filling no matter how much or how little is in there. It is not efficient or easy to clean. Basically a simpleton's version of a pie maker but nowhere near as good. Show details

What a disappointment – This product cooks sausage rolls and is similar to a pie maker in miniature. It is badly designed in that it is a major task to clean after use. There are so many ridges and areas that get full of gunk and are inaccessible to clean. Also the closing mechanism is badly flawed in being incredibly difficult and stubborn to operate and requires your… Read more

hands to be scalded by steam in use. A dog of a product. I wonder about the processes involved in releasing such a bad item and what this says about Mistral as a company.
