promises. After entering into a contract with MLK Marketing, the results fell well short of what was represented. Despite assurances of increased web traffic and sales, our business saw no such improvements. The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria recently found that MLK Marketing made misleading and deceptive representations that induced us to enter the agreement. The Court awarded substantial damages to Palmgrove Road Pty Ltd, recognising the loss and damage suffered as a result of MLK’s conduct. Importantly, the Magistrate found that of the total amount of $45,193.40 charged to my company the actual value was only $3,390.00 and ordered MLK Marketing to pay my company $41,793.40 for loss and damage under the contract and dismissed MLK’s claim for unpaid invoices of $10,216.39. This stark disparity was a key factor in the Court’s decision to award compensation. Following this decision, MLK Group Pty Ltd was put into liquidation to avoid paying the judgment and costs of $50k. I have also recently taken [name removed] the former director of MLK Marketing to court where he was found to have personally engaged in deceptive and misleading conduct during the proceeding in breach of the Civil Procedure Act. I would strongly caution other businesses to be wary of marketing promises that sound too good to be true. My experience, now confirmed by a court decision, highlights the importance of transparency and honesty in business dealings. I cannot recommend MLK Marketing based on our experience and the findings of the Magistrates’ Court. Also, I am amazed that MLK Marketing is still trading given that both MLK Group Pty Ltd and MLK Group International Pty Ltd have been put into liquidation!! BEWARE!!!

They do SEO well while they like you, once you complain everything turns to [Content Removed]. Please do your bank account and mental health a favour and avoid this company. their performance on a month to month basis and pay as i go. Unfortunately, i was not happy on the way they operated as they didn't follow my instructions and verbally expressed this issue. They threatened me to take me to court and issued me with a debt collection to pay for 12 months when they only did 1 months of work, which was paid for. Extremely dishonest company, stay right away from them, i don't recommend anyone to engage in their services. From what i can see i'm not the only one they have done this to. How ridiculous, to demand to pay for 12 months of work and not even do the work and achieve good results.

I give no stars this unethical company MLK phished my website scammed me into unfair contracts took my money. But delivered no services harassed me and my staff to give them ownership of my Domain which I refused and are now trying to claim $21000 for nothing. They have done nothing but harass and take money for work they have not done.

Updated Website - Failed! – The services in their proposal to provide an updated/new website with SEO support were excellent. months. The monthly SEO reports on the website indicated zero improvement over a number of months. Complaints to Management were ignored. The benefits/leads resulting from this website were negligible. Subsequent investigations suggest the website needs more rework to resolve this situation.

Bad! – Just not good, took 6-7k straight up then tried to take a monthly fee for 'SEO' before delivering any meaningful work. This is actually highly illegal. I wont bother going any further here...but refer to their google page to see more truth from other customers obviously been burnt.

being returned, spelling errors, poor gammar, links not working, etc. In Feb 2021 I decided to pull the pin and go with another company and sent an email to that effect. I never heard anything from them again until December 2023 (some 2 years later) where I received a letter from a debt collector indicating that I owe MLK $19,166. Reading through their online reviews, it appears that many former clients are experiencing similar issues with this company, way too many for it to be a coincidence. Needless to say I went with another company who were fantastic, honest and ethical and achieved in 4 weeks what MLK could not achieve in 5 months.

acceptable SEO service. They took over my website domain and ran my business into the ground. They failed to provide services detailed, mismanaged my website as lost orders and applications that I had paid for. Files were also deleted and website often not able to be accessed. Staff were not helpful. I insisted that IT staff be in-house and told that they had their own IT staff. I later found out that they contract overseas. I had to fix a lot of this poor quality work as not acceptable standard for website that I needed. Website is now incredibly slow. I had to hire an IT Specialist to fix the numerous problems they created. He also audited their SEO work and abysmal results and they could not justify any of their work. The 3 month guarantee they offer they refuse to honour. They refuse to pay when I was fed up with no effective SEO work done after 6 months and I attempted to claim the guarantee.

They also engage lawyers and will restrict your access from your own website, effectively holding your website hostage . My recommendation is : Do not sign up with MLK Marketing - you will be very disappointed in what they actually deliver. The good SEO companies do not require contracts ; if they deliver and get you increased sales , then you don't mind paying them. If you have shonky SEO company that does not get you what they promised, then at some point you will stop paying for a service that is way below expectations .
