Horrible!! – We were treated to a bottle of this champagne at a restaurant for our 25th anniversary. The price on the bill was $100. It was awful - and I'm no connoisseur. It honestly tasted like the cheapest champagne on the market. So disappointing.
Horrible – Worst champagne I ever tasted. Can't believe people pay good money for this. Couldn't drink it at all. A friend of mine and myself secretly poured in in a pot plant as we didn't want to offend our host. Sorry to say this. I know people have different tastes. But it was truly awful stuff. Nothing. Bad taste.
The mid-range of the french (real) champagnes – This is a pleasant drop but would never be my first choice. It is quite inexpensive unless you're purchasing in licensed premises where they always bump up the cost to factor in service, etc. It is probably the most well known of the champagnes & I would always prefer it to an Aussie sparkling but it doesn't have the roundness of some of the better but lesser known brands. Probably better off buying online now with many sites offering free delivery with minimum purchase. Better than an Aussie sparkling Lesser quality than some French houses
Excellent – i had my first bottle of Moet bought for me over 25 years ago and feel in love with it then and that love has lost none of its 'sparkle'. My love affair with Moet has outlasted 3 marriages and got me through bringing up 3 children to adults who also don't mind a sip or two (that's all they get of mine - they are earning enough to buy their own now). it is very smooth and easy to drink, I don't seem to get hangovers from it and it can be purchased from major liquor retailers by the case at very reasonable prices. it really is a "feel good" pick me up and you know you are drinking real champagne when you are drinking it. Nothing else really matters when I have a glass of Moet in my hand. It is so smooth and tastes like champagne should taste unreasonable price in some bottle shops
