contacted Monaro via our builder. It took Monaro a couple of days to respond, proposing to visit in 3 weeks time to look at the problem!

After pushing the builder to make some effort to push Monaro, as 3 weeks was completely unacceptable, Monaro turned up a few days later. The installers confirmed that they had forgotten to silicon two key pieces which they proceeded to do. Again we had to wait a couple of days before we could use the shower. Despite it being their fault completely, neither the installers or Monaro head office offered any apology for the inconvenience and their poor standard of work.

My gripe is three-fold. Firstly that Monaro Screens thought it was OK to consider making us wait 3 weeks to fix their botched install. Secondly that no-one offered any apology for the botched install. Thirdly, the nearly $4500 shower screen, made up of a few steel pieces and glass (no frame), only has a 12 month warranty.

It is clear to me that this company want to sell/install as many screens as possible without caring about follow-up quality of work or wanting the hassle of a more appropriate warranty; just get as many done as possible. Where is the customer care!

Monaro efficient quality – Had the Monaro team provide quotes and install crimesafe screens to windows - one being difficult bathroom. Also repaired a large sliding crimesafe screen door. Service and advice friendly and quality job. Highly recommend and plan to go to them for other products.
