This is our fourth ice maker and by far the best we have had. Makes sooo much ice! Love it and really appreciate the two year warranty as our previous models have all died in record time. Show reply

Love ours but does sometime sound like there's a trapped cat somewhere – Update. Still cranking out approx 10 kilos of ice a week. It’s slow but steady depending on the time of year but still going strong. Bought this as a Christmas present as we were going through too many bags of ice. Has worked a treat and does what it says it does and makes ice! My only question, when it is making ice, does anyone else hear the… Read more ·  2

sounds of a cat trapped somewhere? I literally was searching for a trapped cat for weeks only to find it was the ice maker.

Not efficient, very slow – Sadly I returned my ice maker, which I had for about 6 weeks (tried many times to get it working to what the book said) Sales woman tested it with cold water, still only 8 pieces of ice after 12 minutes It was not producing enough ice for my needs & ice stuck together when transferred to my fridge I wanted to make enough ice for my win/champagne… Read more

bucket , but could not achieve this in good time frame Returned to Harvey Norman BUNDALL QLD where sales woman was rude, non helpful. Would never purchase there again , eventually I accepted a store credit

Quality efficient product – Not being able to produce enough ice to keep up with demand, I bought the Morphy Richards Icemaker from the very ehlpful staff at my local Harvey Norman. The ice makeri s great! It produces a large quantity of ice quicky, and specifications show that it consumes very little power. IMPORTANT! Do as the manual says - run the first full cycle of ice… Read more ·  1

through and discard! After that, ice quality is excellent. If transferring to the ice container in the fridge/freezer, it's important to break up the load once or twice at five-sixminute intervals, otherwise there is a likelyhood of a solid block forming. Easy process, just stab and stir the ice cubes with a kitchen knife. So, in summary, if you need an ice maker, I can totally recommend this model.

Works a treat! – This is such a handy appliance to have on hot days or when entertaining. It’s really easy to use, just add water, turn on and wait for the ice. The ice cubes are a decent size and they stay frozen for a good amount of time in the basket. Durable, practical and good value. Show reply

Good design for the home – There are a few of these ice machines on the market, I liked this design the best. Simple, thought out well This is a finger type evaporator (cooler) , The unit utlises the production bin area and doubles its use as the reservior for water. The machine for me produced ice in eight minutes but this is based on a cooler day. The pump adds… Read more

water to a tray and then chills it. The operation is simple with a drop and scoop action for ice harvest. The fresh air intake is low and the hot air discharge is high and this is very sensible. It is a quiet machine , only noise is the ice drop on occasion. In short for home use, very cheap and cost effective for small term needs and Im very happy with it.
