Very effective and gentle relief.I like the chocolate flavoured satchets.
After having a baby I experienced really bad constipation issues, but after being recommended Movicol from my doctor it is amazing has helped me so much, the taste isn't too bad either which is a bonus. ♡
Recommend Movicole – I had trouble with constipation for over a month, went to see my GP and he put me on Movicole. Got a box from Woolworths in lemon flavour. It tasted a little like Salvital. I couldn't beleve the change, I went back to normal after a few days. I also changed my diet slightly and that also helped. I recommend Movicole
Don't like the taste – A specialist advised me to take it as I have problems. It made me feel sick, a bit strange, although it did do the job. Don't like the way I feel after drinking it. The "tasteless" sachets are not tasteless. The chocolate Movicol does not taste like chocolate.
Hidden Sugar - irresponsible labelling – I have been taking this product for a while. But am also fighting SIBO so vital that I have no sugar intake. A particularly nasty batch of the lemon and lime flavour prompted me to do a search on why it tasted like soap - something for which I still have no explanation. But lo and behold, I did find out that maltodextrin is added. Why would… Read more
someone add something like that to a medicine and then conceal it from the user. Feeling deeply aggrieved about that.
Big company selling health products, no customer support at all – I found that several sachets of Movicol had specks of black stuff in it, and tried to let them know that there could have been a production issue. It was difficult to contact them. The telephone number did not answer, but I persisted and after a few days, I got through. I gave the details to the lady who answered, and she said someone may ring me… Read more
or email me about this. Nope. Nil, nada, zilch.. It's sort of amazing that a large wellknown company like this can be so laissez faire about their product quality, and not even acknowledge someone who bothered to tell them and who had to jump through so many hoops to do so. So the 3 stars is for a good product. But the missing stars is for terrible/non-existent customer service.
