pay them. I was very disappointed and upset, I wish I hadn’t started though this business. If your a first time business starter I suggest going elsewhere for starting because MyCube isn’t going to support or help you, they will make empty promises and disappoint.

Not worth it – This started off as being a great idea for my business of handmade items. However all was not as it was promised. works 24/7). I was promised frequent checkups from management to help as well as helping to build a website and not to mention being featured on their websites every month or so. However, none of this came to pass. I was not given the opportunity to be featured on their social media (even when I asked I received no message back). None of this was worse than what came to pass just an hour ago. The MyCube in Myer was shut down. No previous warnings were made, just an email at 11pm and with no daytime to prepare or take back stock. I am honestly horrified and feel violated by this business’ misconduct and inability to communicate with the very business they try to achieve with their “cubists”. I was promised help and guidance, yet I only received monthly emails to pay rent. This was my first attempt at a business and I am highly dissapointed in the empty promises of this company. I’m much better off doing it myself.

Mycube helped me become a businessman – After learning how to import products and finding a great supplier and customs agent, we needed a place to market our product. My partner, wife and co-director can now choose to work part time from her job. We could have spent all the money into shopping, travelling or at the casino. But now we do it in a controlled way, at the same time we are learning how to be business people.

We never thought that spending $1000-$5000 for the length of the term and having a short term contract could ever be possible to open a retail store at Westfields!

The management and staff are very friendly too, and do their best to entertain customer! It's a fun place.

It's a scam – Guys. Be aware. It's a scam. Do not but their training material. There is a salesman very pushy. Promise everything and never deliver anything. worst experience ... togaf and pmp material is what they try to sell

Not realistic – My cube did not live up to our expectations! We saw all these positive reviews and decided to go for it. After 2 months of trading we've made $100. It cost us over $1000 to put our products into a basic cube for 3 months... you do the math #awfulinvestment

Brilliant business and ideas – My cube helped me to start my own business. I like this business model, for me, simple!! I do not need to spend lot of time on it, because My Cube staff have an eye on my business, they will tell me how my business is going on. My business is starting to make money and i am planning improve my business for the upcoming Christmas. Wish me good luck.

make it look nice, which products customers liked and didnt like, and kept hassling me (in a good way) whenever my products were low in stock. I also like how they help me advertise on their facebook and instagram. That eventually motivated me to start my own social media accounts and I find that I'm getting new customers that way and can refer them to look and buy at my cubes in the shopping centres. I must admit, in the beginning I tried out many many different product lines and it took me a good few months to work out which products worked best, but I still try new things without branching away from what I primarily focus on. I found that when I improved my branding and packaging it did make a difference as well. I recently started at Parramatta and am quite impressed with my sales there as well. Living in Brisbane, I ship my products and the staff there help me restock and I just send them pictures of how I want it setup and they do it for me. My only problem at the moment is not being able to keep up with stock demand but Im going to make sure I fix that before Christmas!!!! I would recommend having a cube shop with them mainly because of the helpful staff. And the best part of having cubes with them is that I get to tell people I have my businesses in big shopping centres like Westfield.

did not make money and from my perspective, they have an unrealistic expectation thinking My Cube will turn them into millionaires. My Cube is a platform, just like eBay, you are still in charge of your own business’s destiny. I worked hard to build a supply chain and sourced my own unique products over many months and promoted hard to get to where I am today. So obviously these negative people did not do what I do.

This is a perfect place – This is a such an amazing place to start your business. You don't need to be there, and dont need to worry about bills, hiring staff, and cash handling! Mycube covers them all. All i need to do is preparing my products and marketing.

Great Products – This is such a fantastic shop, my mind was blown the first time I went in and now I keep coming back. There are way too many interesting things inside it, that just makes me always wanting to come back.

I was actually lied to, I was told my sales would be better than online, they weren't. But proving that in a court of law would be impossible.

I should have recorded the initial appointment.

Anyway, I regret the exchange dramatically, however it taught me a valuable lesson, so for that I'm thankful.

And it could have been worse. There was a lady there one day that was spending $500 per week on a small eye-level cube and she hadn't made a single sale in 6 months. NOT ONE. And to make things even worse, had a bunch of theft.

And thank goodness I was wise enough not to choose the longest contract option, like [name removed] was trying to pressure me into.

They do fake discounts and stuff too.. at first the original price I was quoted by staff quadrupled when I had the appointment with leasing manager [name removed], then he talked to his boss and halved that price, then said I'd have to pay commission though, then magically had that waived. It's all a sleazy sales tactic designed to sucker you in.

If you're going to ignore all warning signs and sign up, at least do it for just 3 months so you won't lose as much money & you'll quickly see what a bad deal it is.

Facebook but it was already too late. We are now four weeks in, and everything stated by other reviewers here has come to pass. At very best we will be lucky to pay off the rent amount, with no profit. At worst, and based on sales, we will lose about 5000 dollars over the next 5 months on rent alone. That's not to mention the theft and lack of assistance from staff. This is an 'all risk on you' proposition. They have a very sophisticated sales approach that preys on the emotions of the potential seller. Great model - hats off to them.

I try to stay positive, for my wife's sake at least so she doesn't blame herself. But my advice is avoid mycube at all costs! Sell your stuff online or at local markets.

any way they can. Mycube has helped run many events in-store which help to boost my sales and exposure, and they are always willing to take ideas and assist in making these events successful. One example in the past was during Valentines day, where they allowed me to display posters I had created and put them in the front window, drawing customers into the store. More recently was with a Pokémon event where they facilitated a whole in-store competition, and with the input of all involved, resulted in record sales for my business. I encourage all Cubiez to share their ideas with the Mycube team for promoting their business. awesome place to start a business – Want to thank Mycube for the education and professional attidude. I've learnt so much about retail and it has given me the experience to launch my products. I would recommend it to anyone starting out in retail. Saves a lot of money also as you can test your product sales before getting a store to yourself, or give real sales figures for other store owners to stock your products.

The terms are, I believe are biased towards their co, and the poor renter suffers in the mean time.I went to a my cube shop to look it over. The girl on the checkout was not product savvy at all on anybody's products on display, so,you could not rely on the staff to close a sale or answer any customer's questions for you. The shop to my eyes looked cluttered and unprofessional. If this was going to be your launching pad for whatever your product, you could and should do better somewhere else than in this concept. per day you own a space in a high traffic modern shopping mall. The average cube goes for about $20 per day anyway in reality, and you end up paying about $700 per month GST inc. You have to pay twice in your first month, because they like every month's rent paid 1 month in advance, and also you pay the Bond and contract fee. You wake up from all this shock and boom you realize you are on a signed contract, and if you tried to get out, you are made to pay half of the contract total as termination fee. What product will anyone possibly sell in a 1m X 1m cube to offset this costs! Some of us have been foolish to fall prey, I have been slapped a $5,000 bill from this silly mistake, I have no idea what to do now but I vowed to let Australia know about this glorified dingy concept. The only person making millions from it obviously is Stanley Hsu, the founder. This is something Australians should avoid. Australia is a land of opportunity, not a society where the rich feast and suck on the poor dry and blind!
