I want to say thanks so much for dr wathik I am very grateful for your support and the excellent care you have given me. Thank you for always being there for me. Short version:
Extremely disappointed with the treatment of MyHealth Bondi Jnc staff. I requested a repeat prescription from my doctor ([Name Removed]) and the receptionist advised that the prescription attracts a small fee of $3.00, which I didn’t expect, as MyHealth provided this yearly repeat in the past from different doctors and never charged me for it, but… Read more
given it was such a small charge, I agreed. The next thing I knew, $30.42 had been deducted from my credit card. I called the centre, thinking it was a typo on their end, but they advised me that it wasn’t. Basically, an e-prescription that takes perhaps a minute to write and send via SMS costs me the same amount as my QRT-ly medication. I requested a refund because of what I was advised on the day I called, as I would never have agreed to it otherwise, given that there are doctors who would write the same prescription for free. The information I was given over the phone was clearly misleading, and I felt I should be compensated; however, my request was refused. Suffice to say that I will look for another doctor and the medical centre. When you deal with an institution that cares more about charging you a fee than other doctors don’t, and whose staff don’t really care about keeping you on as a patient, then you might as well go somewhere else. I also requested to see a policy showing that their centre charges for repeat prescriptions (as mentioned above, I was never charged for it in the past by any of the other doctors); however, this request has also fallen on deaf ears. In this particular instance, it’s not even about the fee they charged me but about the misleading information they provided when I called and their unwillingness to own up to it.
There's no star to give them. I am extremely disappointed with [Name Removed] at Central Park Myhealth Clinic. It is evident from the repeated bad reviews (over 100s) that his unprofessional behavior and poor attitude toward patients are ongoing issues. Such conduct is unacceptable, especially in a profession that requires care, respect, and… Read more
empathy. He and his clinic colleagues who have been ignoring and protecting this malpractice are putting public at risk over prolong periods. Those other doctors and staff who are well aware of these issues and neglected their ethical responsibilities as medical professionals to report these type of staff.
Due to my own negative experience, I am filing a formal complaint with the relevant authority in New South Wales, including the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). I have included [Name Removed] Provider No: 440258AF in the complaints. If [Name Removed] continues his misconduct and misbehaviour towards his patients, I will take necessary measures with NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, worst case, his license will get revoked. This type of behavior must be addressed to ensure that patients receive the care they deserve.
Civilians and patients have fundamental and human rights to be treated with respect, professionalism, and dignity by medical practitioners like [Name Removed].
I strongly suggest other patients going through the same experience with [Name Removed], don’t hesitate to make a better change on our community and start filing complaints towards him.
I strongly urge [Name Removed] to reflect on his practice and take steps to improve his professional attitude and patient care.
Woeful. I am now 3 days without antidepressants – Long term patient, refused bulk billing despite HCC, no cash and urgent need for antidepressant script renewal. 3rd day unmedicated, I am suffering withdrawal symptoms. Shame on you.
Great Dr in ringwood area – Doctors are respectful and details here. I have been a regular patient since it started 5 years ago. The Doctors and receptionist have always been helpful.
Doctor Raniga rude – I am very upset , yesterday was my first time edens landing clinic the ladies are amazing but doctor Raniga was very rude to my lil boy and I am telling guys I will never come back there horrible person
Uncaring Staff – Would not go back there again, staff need to advise patients if there are going to be any lengthy delays especially if doctors are running late. A little bit of consideration to the patient would be appreciated instead of being ignored.
Dr John Leventhorpe - Sweet Kind Broadly Educated Doctor - WHO ACTUALLY HAS SPIRITUAL BROADMINDEDNESS!!! – I went through living hell trying to get a doctor to understand my spiritual experiences, and not call me crazy ... I am a deeply spiritual woman. He started with a joke about 'yin' ... like 'yin and yang' ... and next thing he was filling me in about Pacific Islander disease-dispositions (no racism at all), and the origins of sugar (Whether… Read more
Caesar had it, or sometimes Jesus? LOL) ... and then he'll talk about the Commonwealth Games, or human rights in Australia - for the sick - these days. He's informed about everything. Sweet, polite, kind ... goes the extra mile, for example when you have a difficulty with your circumstances, or with a certain script, or technicality etc. I'VE HAD DOCTORS FROM THE CITY TO THE GOLD COAST ... AND HE IS THE BEST I'VE MET IN BRISBANE!!! I always look forward to going ... and can't believe my luck that he is so close ... after 20 years of travelling to the moon, and changing doctors. HE HAS GIVEN ME VERY GOOD ADVICE ABOUT A TERRIBLY IMPORTANT SOCIAL/POLITICAL/WORK MATTER ... he is a good counsellor ... wise ... 10/10!!!
P.S. His surgery has one of those common new signs up about 'No Addictive Pills' like Valium or Coedine ... but if you have a good letter from your previous doctor, he prescribes what is responsibly needed. There is a tendency in Australia to talk about 'street people' and 'drug addicts' ... that's how you make them ... but otherwise I wouldn't fault John. I'm sure this 'fad' comes from the dubious/evil psychiatric profession and the bureaucracy ... and professional doctors are probably in 'awe' of their qualifications, and fooled by them.
