NAB Ant American Express Card with No Annual Card Fee

Bad – i thought this would be a great card as it has no annual fee and can be linked to flybuys. however there seem to be so many places that either do not accept american express or charge extra to use and amex card. interest rate quite high on purchases. no annual fee is great! it can be linked to your flybuys account to earn rewards points so many places either do not accept american express or charge you an extra percentage to accept it. if you only have one credit card and rely on it being accepted this is not the card for you

Good – You get double Flybuys when you have a Flybuy Account. Just remember to present both this card and your Flybuys! The online NAB site is informative and the transaction figures are updated much faster than Westpac's. The actual description of your spending comes in 2-3 days later. If only the Amex label was removed and replaced with another popular label, this would a card killer. If "no annual fee" is what you are after, this is the one. None even for your supplementary card holder. It's good if you are spending on high priced items as this card can be linked to your Flybuys easily. High interest rate. And the fact that American Express is not really welcome in many places or accepted with an additional percentage on top of whatever you buy. At times, it gets rejected at some counters (I've received an apology before as I was deeply embarrassed by the whole thing) so it's good to have cash or another card as backup. About seven times in two years plus. And all this time - the card was paid up, more like technical error at the other end.
