Don't trust at all, will drop your domain without warning and refuse to restore. Other services much better and cheaper.

Dangerous service. Stole the domain of a good friend of mine once the domain reached a vast audience . Steer away from their services

These guys used to be great years ago when I moved most of my domains to them, but they've gone right off. Service is perfunctory at best via online chat, waiting to be handed over to another service agent. Functional answers and no actual help at all. No responsibility for anything either. I'm slowly moving all my domains from them. I'm done.

I wouldn’t recommend Namecheap to anyone. Support is available only as chat sessions with staff, who universally have poor English and generally respond with pre-written text while running multiple sessions in parallel. the next before I could resolve a server problem that arose from wrong setup by their staff. I also had our site down for a week because of wrong information in an email. Online tutorials also use poorly written English that is difficult to follow. Although Namecheap describes itself as a US company, their staff must either be working elsewhere or their hiring policy targets staff who do not have English as a first language.

There is no personalised service when reaching out about this issue - only generic automated feedback without any consideration for the specific customer's needs and situations. This provider is more focused on making money than providing a quality service - it's a scam and I've just been scammed!

Falsely marked for Abuse, no way to resolve except leaving – I used Namecheap to host a domain and email service for scan to email on our photocopiers, and a security log notification system. Out of nowhere yesterday after over a year of no issues my photocopiers throw errors. Turns out Namecheap had disabled my account for 'abuse'. Support wouldn't help me because it can only be resolved through a ticket… Read more

they sent me... which I never received. (They are more than happy to send me invoice emails however).

With no recourse I am forced to cancel the service and move to another provider.

Extremely frustrating, be warned, if you get marked for abuse make sure your contact email in Name cheap isn't your company domain.

SCAM! Customer Information at RISK – They will steal your customers details and send you marketing emails to all your customer's! DO NOT USE THEM FOR HOSTING or loose all your dats send to overseas.

Can't get any simpler as a Domain Registrar – I have been with Name Cheap for years. I have lots of domains are hosted there simply because their super fast support and they are easy to talk to. They offer discounts and promos every other week. I am quite satisfied with them.

Beware! They treat customers very badly – I bought 'Premium' hosting. After some spikes in resources, and they asked me to take certain steps...which I did.. However, they suspended the account before they work was completed...no warning! Give them a miss....
