Installed this product during covid. The selling point was very little maintenance and I must admit it looks good when completed but what I was not made aware of is that you can get static electricity when walking on the boards, it drives me mad! The boards have faded and be very careful not to scratch or dent as you cannot do anything to repair… Read more
other than replace. It is a very expensive product and the movement between joints in length is incedible.
Be very careful buying from this company. We had composite decking installed and all of the boards now have fibres showing everywhere. It looks terrible. Newtechwood have insisted this is normal and it will disappear with wear (the fact that this is 'normal' is insane)After nearlly 12 months it is worse. Also not sure how you get wear (foot trafffic) on fascia boards to remove fibres. The video attached is 10 months after installation.

I couldn’t be happier with my first composite decking & wall cladding attempt. The Great advice & service allowed me to achieve this amazing result. I love it & the concealed fittings. I found this a fairly easy DIY project & still smile every time I look at the end result. Thanks Show reply
Follow-up · Concealed fixing are very easy to put in & use. My advice is to fit all the boards a bit longer than required & then saw them to the correct size when they are down, this give you perfect gap sizes. Biggest challenge was my age , definitely use knee pads for comfort . Happy laying

Have used castellated cladding - black butt, fantastic textured look & colour against a Surfmist render. Very real looking & need to convince people it’s a composite. Very happy & recommend. Show reply
We used the Canadian cedar cladding and coastal beech decking to complete our pool area, we are so happy with the product and the results. So easy to clean and no major upkeep needed, also no risk of tannin bleeds on our light coloured coping tiles. Very impressed. Show reply

Great for non-professional 'handy-people' – NewTechWood is very simple to install, takes the guess work out of the construction process, and doesn't require any maintenance. Building in a BAL25 area limited what we were able to install, and NewTechWood ticked all the boxes. Awesome product – My Newtechwood castellated cladding in IPE looks ultra modern and was a snap to install myself. I am a handy guy with plenty of my own tools which helps but it of ALL the jobs during this full renovation on my 1976 build home this was the most satisfying buy a mile! which means of course it’s totally exposed to the elements. My wife Carrie got tired of oiling the huge wooden deck every year, plus the joists were starting to rot at the top from screw holes after 14 years, so after a ton of research we went with NewTechWood. Looks fantastic and the deck install was far quicker and easier than the balustrades! We’re back to using the breakfast deck in the morning sun, the lower deck for lunches and dinners with guests, and the long deck to watch the sunsets with a glass of Prosecco for the wife, and highland single malt for meself. Deck's been in for 1 year now and it still looks new. Life’s good.

Stoked – I chose Newtech due to the colour range the have on offer and the warranty of the product. I have built two decks and cladd two handrails with their Teak range. Absolutely love it. As much of a timber lover that i am, i am so glad i chose composite, reducing the maintenance around the home. Real timber looking decks for our new home – We’re still finishing our new home so are unable to fully utilise our new deck areas, but our little deck at the back of our house is great. The NewTechWood Blackbutt decking looks amazing & it is so easy to maintain. Everyone comments on how nice it looks, & especially love the colour as it looks like real timber. A great product NewTechWood we are glad we found – We need to renew a 25 year old deck outside our main bedroom. We looked at multiple products but found NewTechWood to be far superior in trueness of colour; wood grain and texture. We picked the Teak colour and are very happy with it. Show reply

Brilliant Castallation Cladding – The castellation cladding looks fabulous. Our chippie hadn't worked with this product before but still found the installation a breeze. We have had so many positive comments about our house as the facade looks brilliant.
NewTechWood excellent for harsh environments – We used NewTechWood Antique Commercial boards for our new pool deck at Beaches of Broome - a super harsh environment. The installer, Steve from Decknicians, did a comprehensive and thorough job and we are very happy to say that over a year later the last thing we worry about is the state of the deck - it is fabulous with just a quick wash over every now and then - has saved us time and money, and looks great too. My wife is happy – The materials that were order for my newTechWood project arrived at the agreed time. All quantities were correct. Loving the switch to this maintenance free product – I decided to get NewTechWood products to use around my pol area and fence. They are in the full sun and get a real belting all year round. Great product, sh!t service! – Product looks great and it should for the ransom of your first child that is the entry cost however their support is non existent. If you don't lime getting electric shocks when walking on your deck the avoid it like the plague.

Don't buy, mould forms on capping – Fact - Mould formed on 5 Newtechwood decks l built when using this product. Have images if required. No back up support given, problem still not resolved. Would not recommend this product.
