Don’t stick – They don’t stick.. ages ago they used to be amazing. Now no matter what you do you they won’t stick.. you will waste patches and have to tape them on and even then they are not as effective as they used to be. I thought maybe I had a bad batch.. but no , they are all crap like this now. Waste of $$ Show details
Nicorette 'main site' are filtering customers review – So I made a review on their main website and was rejected 'as per their guidelines' we cannot or not allowed to say something bad about their products. These patches gave me bad skin irritations and my skin is still red and feels like burning up to now. First they don't stick on very well no matter how I tried to clean the skin and dry it, once… Read more
you moved it starts to come off. I've been on nicabate for 3 months and never had a problem with regards to irritation, I just wanted to try something else because nicabate is sort working but once you take the patches off it gives you massive cravings so I tried nicorette as it's readily available everywhere (no wonder why, because no one buys them.) So this is my reply to their email as to per why they've rejected my review: So basically as a customer who spent their 'own money' are not entitled to our own opinion? I just wasted money to something that caused irritation to my skin, a patch that doesn't stick well and does not work? Isn't this against the law? No wonder why nicorette is the only thing that is readily available in the market because no one buys them and you filter people's true and honest experiences about your product?? (picture below is just one of 4 areas where I put the patches, all are the same and this one is been red, itchy and burning for almost a week now)
Waste of time and money – Honestly cravings were like i had no patch on at all.. it slides off with sweat after an hour, has a bad reaction with most people's skin, bubbles up and leaves skin red and irritated.. fix it nicorette at $50 its highway robbery!! Show details
Impressed but the application and side effects need to be addressed – Take it from a decades long smoker these patches work for those that have been hooked on smoking. My experience over the past few of weeks with the patches is that they are hard to apply to your skin as they lift all the time. The material used in the gum for the patch causes large skin welts and skin irritation, these are not side effects you… Read more
should have to experiencing while giving up smoking with the Australian Government under encouragement to give up smoking, certifies this product to be on the PBS.
Bad patches! – I'm almost convinced there is a conspiracy behind making these patches unstickable so consumers will buy more. This product does not support you to quit smoking if the product doesn't do what it says on the packet. Don't try nicabate either, it's just as bad. Show details
Great product that actually works – This is Great product! Helped me quit smoking easy. I smoked 25-30 cigarettes a day for 30 years. This is my 3rd month and I am doing great no more cravings at all. Would recommend it to everyone
Worst Anti smoking patch ever – I tried this preperation to quit smoking, I thought I would get these as they are advertised and they will work well, I have used other patches ( that actually worked) recently so I knew what too expect, this are by far the most useless patch ever, I was doing a long drive for 6 hours with children so i didnt want to smoke and I honestly had… Read more
cravings the entire way, If anything this patches made my cravings worse, they were by far the strongest Cravings I have ever had.
I went and brought QUIX X step 1 patches, And i have only had 2 ciggarettes (Down From 20-30 a day)
I wouldnt recommend nicorette patches to anyone
Not recommended! – I am writing this review after my third time at quitting smoking- today is day 4 of my 3rd attempt. Firstly, let me say that I understand that patches alone aren't going to stop anyone smoking if they truly don't want to stop- having said that, patches are proven to help with yukky withdrawal symptoms so I think they do have a place in quitting.… Read more
For me anyways!
What prompted me to write this review was that, once again, I purchased Nicorette because they are cheaper and once again was disappointed! When I say once again, I mean I have bought these 3 times in about a 6 year span.
The patch won't stick!!!- on dry skin, on hairless skin, on skin that doesn't stretch/move a lot, on clean skin, on any skin- I followed ALL directions and had to resort to (a) applying a new patch- this is a worry as I'm not sure of the dosage throughout the day (b) buying some medical grade sticky tape that resembles Contact- this is difficult to apply as its so thin and it is an extra cost for me.
My theory is that the Nicorette people may think they're selling a product that may not get them repeat business so they sell below par patches resulting in consumers having to buy more!
Seriously- band aids stick better than these stupid patches. When my week runs out I'm buying Nicabate- have used that brand once before and they were fantasticly sticky. Helped somewhat with cravings. Patch won't stick, needed extra adhesive at extra cost to me.
OK – I couldn't use this prodcut for long as it drove me mad itching and burning. Also it is thick and you can see it through clothing. It did calm cravings a little bit. It also left my skin red raw where it had been sitting. I would not purchase again but will try the clear patch next time. It is probably fine for those with less sensitive skin.… Read more
I wish they would also make the patches a little smaller and more flexible/comfortable to wear. It calmed cravings somewhat. The patch itched my skin, was hot to wear and visible through clothing.
