Really bad product – This product helps nothing. These folks have become very good at taking advantage of smokers trying to quit. Outrages price for little to nothing. Don't buy this product it is not worth it. Show details

Feels like smoking – This little gadget works very well! It does almost feel like smoking and definitely suppresses the urge and cravings. Very easy to use. Don't love the design it sort of looks like a tampon applicator. Have been smoke free 3 weeks and feel like I've really quit this time. I use 1 canister each day.

Really helps – I have found these so helpful to use in a combination therapy of using the Quit X patches and these inhalers. I'm on my 3rd week and now use 3-4 cartridges of these a day, you can use up to 6/day. 1 cartridge lasts around 40 mins. 1box of 20 is lasting me around 5 days, I look for where these & the patches are on sale, I get a box of 20 inhalers &… Read more

a week of patches for $42, which usually I would spend in every 24 hour period on a pack of rothman 40s smokes! It replaces the hand to mouth action, in the first week especially when you're looking for something to do, feel lost, like something is missing, this really helps that. Now in week 3 I don't think about smoking as much as I did in week 1, I don't feel panicked, I noticed within 2 days how cleaner the air was to breathe, everything smells stronger, things I couldn't smell before I can smell now, I can smell a smoker a mile away, I have lost weight from being more active, instead of sitting & smoking & feeling sluggish & tired & short of breath, I have been keeping busy, I have so much more time to do other things as am not wasting those minutes sitting & smoking. Obviously nicotine replacement is still nicotine, so is still the thing we are addicted to, but it's without all the other crap in smokes, and you learn mind control, I can tell myself to keep busy for the next few minutes when an urge to smoke hits as the urge will then be gone. You get to feel the difference of being a non smoker and can decrease the amount of nicotine replacement without feeling as anxious & panicked about it. I recommend giving it a go in combination with patches, I have found the Quit X brand to be great.

well – I bought this product to help my partner. Although he has found it helpful. He won't for the life of him use it in public & I sort of don't blame him. Because it looks like a "certain female product" which causes onlookers to do a double take. So it causes embarrassment to him. It needs to be rejigged in appearance. So yeah it works but my partner has only cut down his smoking.

Harsh, expensive and non refundable – Why don't they give smokers samples of these things? Instead of plastering the media with pictures of the insides of my lungs and then charging more than a packet of cigarettes for the stuff. I have spent $42 on this inhaler. It hurts my throat to use it, too much. It's a horrible feeling. I think it's unusable and it's definitely non refundable.

Suprised – I brought these to try out and never did I think there'd actually work to kill the cravings as good as they do ... as I've tried the patches and gum before but ended up smoking again .... If you want to give up smoking give these a try

12 months In – First introduced to me by my NSW Drug Counselor Helen. Thank You. 55 year old, smoking for most my adult life. My Chinese wife and I decided to buy a house, AND stop smoking at the same time.. NICORETTE INHALERS Saved the day. 13 months later, not smoked a cigarette, though occasionally suck on an "Inhaler." We buy them off EBay, as the… Read more

chemist is just as expensive as smokes! They're not silly! They are legal drug sellers after all! I understand, each to their own. I've been addicted to many drugs..Heroin, Pot, etc.. But with the inhalers, I may not puff one for a week, though come a stressful situation, it 's just so much better than starting that smoking (yuck) habit again. ALSO.. Wow, The small of Spring is upon us both... WOW, Jasmine, not to mention the pure smell of my wife...

Give them a go, they may be your sweet spot. You have nothing, but, everything to lose if not... No smell, no chest congestion. I feel the nicotine effect. It's a drug after all. Buying from Pharmacies. (Chemists) EXPeNSIVE> EBAY IT!!

Just started my inhalator, unsure! – First week in; i have been wanting to quit for about a year now and managed to cut down to as few as two to five cigarettes a day! Although when i drink i crave nicotine, haven't tested a night on the booze yet! I find it hits the back of my throat, almost like pieces of sand. The evapors may be a better option, but will persist and access the… Read more

Good – One of the hardest things about quitting, even with patches or gum is that you don't get that nicotine "hit" or "rush" that you get from a cigarette. The craving for that hit is especially bad when drinking alcohol I find, and many times I have tried quitting before only to falter upon my second or third beer. The inhaler addresses this problem by… Read more

simulating what a real cigarette does. I was a bit dubious about trying this first as I didn't think it could satisfy, but was pleasantly surprised by just what a good substitute it is. Unfortunately, it's also as expensive or even more so than smoking is, so if cost is a big reason for quitting, then this product is probably not the way to go. Also, I'm not sure about this being a "quit" product - I'd be happy to just keep using these forever in place of cigarettes...if they weren't quite so expensive. But then again, health is just as important. Gives you the same "hit" you get from a real cigarette. Excellent smoking substitute - can be used in places where smoking is banned. Satisfies the habit of doing something with your hands. Very strong - could be easy to overdose (?) Very expensive - more expensive than cigarettes if you use the upper recommended amount of cartridges a day.

Excellent – I've smoked a pack a day for 26 years and after my partner successfully quit using inhalers I decided to give it a go. I was utterly addicted to smoking and loved it. The inhalers have helped me to quit. I don't miss smoking at all and find the inhalers great to assist with cravings. I tell my friends (and myself) that I've found a new improved… Read more ·  1

way to smoke! ;-) Have read other comments where people say the product burned their throat, I don't get that feeling at all. I find the 'burn' no different to actual smoking which actually helps me, I enjoy it! I always found the drawing back on a cigarette relaxing and was quite worried about how I would get that same feeling once I quit, the inhalers provide for me. I love them and would recommend them to anyone who wants to quit smoking for good.! Easy to use, simulates real smoking, calms cravings, aids with the habitual action of smoking. Cost - can be expensive

Excellent – Fantastic!!!! I would recommend these inhalers to anyone who wants to quit smoking. I feel 100% better in my self in just 2 weeks. The inhaler is a great substitute for the cigarette. My hubby and I have been using them for 2 weeks now and find they are better then any other quit smoking product including the prescription medecines. I have… Read more

read that others think they are expensive - they could be but only if you used the 6 - 12 cartridges per day. We have only used 3 at most per day and it has worked out much cheaper for us. We have gone from smoking 20 - 25 a day to using generally only 1 or 2 cartridges per day.

I have also read they are fiddly to use - we have not found this at all. Very simple to change cartridges. No cons - a great product.

It worked for me! – It's been over a year and a half since I quit.. the inhaler help me through some tough times.. when cravings hit me hard; drinking with friends, work breaks, driving to work and with coffee.. It took away the craving and I didn't feel like one.. I have to admit.. for it to work you have to really want to quit smoking.. I have tried previously… Read more

thinking 'oh but I like smoking' so it was a sure fail.. This time I thought about why I wanted to quit.. sick of waking up in the morning feeling gross... premature wrinkles and looking grey..

Now I feel awesome, I don't need it anymore..and I no longer look 'like a smoker' per se. Instant relief from the craving Looks a bit like a Tampon Insert.

Excellent – It's a great product, and helped me to quit smoking after 20 years. I found that the Nicorette Inhaler gave me the feeling of holding a cigarette. The dose of nicotine inhaled made me feel the same as if I had smoked a real cigarette. It helped that I could use it wherever I went, especially after having a coffee. It's not expensive either! I can't think of any.

Excellent – Alot of people were saying that they found it too harsh. Yes, at first you inhale like a normal cigarette and nearly burn your throat. Once you get used to the inhaler, you find it gives a nice soft lingering tobacco sensation. It is alot smoother than a cigarette without the smell, headaches, loose bowels, and dry throat in the morning. You only… Read more

need a couple of quick puffs, rather than a whole cigarette, and you can do this discreetly and in places you cant otherwise smoke (plane etc). As i said the initial cost of $40 is expensive, but i found just one lasted all day (the taste) and you dont need to have to keep replacing hte filter everytime you 'finish your smoke'. i did however get into the bad habit of having it hanging out of my mouth a little while. I love this and whenever i still social smoke, i crave to get the inhaler out instead, but of course, that would look funny at the pub. You and your house do not smell like smoke.

You can have a quick fix if your in the office and need one without time to go outside (or weather).

Safety - can not start fires... You can get into the habit of having it stuck in your mouth 24 hours per day.

Really YUCK for a menthol smoker – The first few puffs burnt my throat as I must have drawn back too hard. I am a menthol smoker so this tastes really awful & leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. I have now purchased an Electronic Cigarette which I have no doubt will be 100 times better as they come in menthol & other flavours and you even blow out a vapour that looks like smoke! Sadly this is a bin job, definitely not for me. Tastes horrible

Excellent – I think this product works really well. It is great for those of us addicted to the action of smoking and not just the nicotine. I think you could gradually stop putting the nicotine in the inhaler even if you liked to sit and pretend to puff on nothing but air! If you follow the directions it does calm cravings well although I found it hurt my… Read more

throat if I used as much as suggested. It's a good back up to patches if you really feel you need something to do with your hands and the whole physical act of smoking is as hard to give up as the nicotine. Easy to use. Calms Cravings. Price. Burnt my throat.

Good – I do think that this is a very innovative product and was impressed with the results. It came with clear instructions and the option to get further support during the process. The cost can seem prohibitive as this is not the cheapest quit smoking product available but there is a starter pack which is enough to last one day available alongside it… Read more

in most places which is only around $7. I would recommend getting this first to see if the product causes any ill effects as it did for me. I have seen it work and help my partner to quit smoking. Is very easy to use and worked where other attempts had failed. Did not work for me personally as it burnt my throat and caused me to feel very sick.

Bad – I got a starter pack which was quite cheap and because I thought this one would work but the burning in my throat was terrible and I couldn't keep using it. I kept having cravings as well. Easy to use, and seemed like a good idea. Burnt my throat too much.

Excellent – I found the burning made me not inhale as much as suggested, but your suppose to be cutting back while doing this so i thought it was great, 2 a day few puffs at a time. After 14yrs of smoking and all the different aid's that helped others but not me i finally found something that works. this way you can work on one addiciton at a time, get the… Read more

nicotine outta your system then work on the habbit of the actual action of smoking. very smart actually. You quit one bad habit at a time rather then 2. Get the nicotine when you need it, habit of smoking made easier cost

Bad – I kind of liked it but it was too fiddly and too easy to draw too much product. On a couple of occasions my eyes watered and I gagged. I only used it for a couple of days. Vaguely similar to a real cigarette, recommended to me by a lady who successfully quit using this treatment. To fiddly to prepare and I dragged too much product.

Excellent – My partner purchased a starter kit over the weekend. She let me try it and I was able to have a meal and drink coffee without the need for a real cigarette (I thought both of these things are a good test as nothing is better than the first cigarette after a meal and a cigarette to accompany coffee). I was able to go for about 6 hours without… Read more

smoking. I immediately thought it was a great idea and wanted my own. Got my starter kit today and I am very optimistic about the results I will acheive with this system. It takes you through the motions as if you are having a cigarette. Safer. Doesn't smell like normal smoke. Able to quench cravings anywhere, anytime. Menthol flavour (which I think is what burns your throat). Price, if it was cheaper than cigarettes more people would get on board and have a go. Doses should be limited to a standard cigarette instead of being told to suck on it for 20 minutes, which is not what a smoker does. A normal cigarette can last between 5 and 10 minutes depending on how quickly you smoke. I believe it should simulate normal cigarette smoking.
