champix tablets with no results and in fact in certain situations caused me to smoke more and with champix caused me to have a psychotic event.. Recently I spoke to my doctor who suggested syban again and these "Nicotinell one step patches". The syban was not available on the day so I picked up the Nicotinell patches and I thought I would at least put one patch on to try, it was uncomfortable on my skin at first. I did smoke while I had the first two patches on but within two days I had no cravings. It was the most wonderful experience I have ever had with a product, trying to give up over the past 20 years. I haven't finished the 28 days course yet and have completely wiped out the urge for any more cigarettes. The patch itself is round in shape, instead of square, seems to sit well if you shower with one on. If it does fall off hold for a long time in a new spot and the patch does adhere properly again. Where other patches I have used fall off and can't be used again because of the glue they use. For other patches I had to buy a irritation cream for after the patch use on skin rashes. These patches leave no itchiness or irritation after use.
