I adore my Nordic Track C7 ZL & use it with my fav online workout YouTube channel Global Cycling Net – I was a runner, but no sprints for me, slow burners that eat up the road like Pacman are the best. But when I began getting knee soreness I decided to cross the floor and hop on a bike! I never looked back, I like the low impact and I’m delighted with my Nordic Track C7 ZL stationary! Having my own exercise bike is such a luxury, the centre piece of my own little sanctuary (formally the spare room) which helps me get into workout mode. It also helps if I put my workout clothes right on my bedside table so I see them when I first open my morning eyes. I picked the Nordic Track partly because I wanted an upright bike (it’s more comfy), and it has an iPod port with speakers, heart monitor and a calorie counter! The LCD screen on the NordicTrack is also really big so whether I’m standing up or in the saddle I can still read it. The panel is also big enough to fit my iPad so if I’m using a Youtube workout or just watching a video’s it’s still perfect.

The bike was a little more pricey (AUD $500-$800 depending on inclusions from Rebel Sport) than the spin cycles but I really wanted the stats, and it has a heart strap so I can have the heart monitor going without holding the heart rate sensors. NB. Chatswood Rebel sport provide Australian power supply some retailers don’t and suggest you get your own international adaptor.. weird?? Quiet, easy to use, great dashboard with heart monitor, watts and calorie counter, works with my iPad I got the model with all the extras so it was a bit more expensive than the Spin bikes etc.

It's ok but could be better – I purchased this bike in NSW .First thing that people should be aware of is the fact that this bike comes with a british power adapter which I think is pretty poor given it was purchased in an Australian store. It can be operated using 4 D size batteries but they dont last long. You will need to buy a power adapter to save on the cost of batteries.

There are plenty of different workout options. You can plug your i-pod into it and use the speakers to make your workout more fun. The seat despite looking quite large and padded is very uncomfortable. I am yet to find a way to make it bearable to sit on and get through a workout. For those that are used to riding bikes it may not be so bad. On the good side the seat can be moved up and down as well as backwards and forwards. The bike is very quiet when in use so no need to turn the TV or stereo up. Lack of Australian power adapter is definitely a negative as well as how uncomfortable the seat is
