Warning - Don't buy for the big screen – First - Haven't used it much. Only have it a few days. Can't comment yet on the quality or longevity of the unit. The reason I'm posting this is the fact that the treadmill comes with a very large screen that is useless unless you want to commit to $500+ per year for ifit. DO NOT BUY this unit if you read that you can side boot apps such as… Read more

netflix or any other streaming media software that would actually make this unit worth the money. The locking of the unit to ifit only is garbage and needs to be addressed. What they have done is force people to rent the equipment after already purchasing it. That should be outlawed because deceptive predatory companies such as nordictrack and ifit will take full advantage if they can. This just proves it. They can say all day long that it's for the "security" of the equipment, etc.. that's complete crap. Put up a banner and let my equipment be mine. Let me sign up to ifit if it feel it's worth the money. Don't get me to pay premium and then make me feel bad because there is a useless giant monitor that does nothing because I cannot afford or don't want ifit membership.

Thanks for nothing - unhappy nordictrack/ifit owner/renter.

A secondary unhappiness is the fact that I was expecting the same 1yr ifit family membership i got with a previous nordictrack product. Only after I received the unit did I realize they've reduced the free membership from 1yr to 30days ifit membership. You'll find that detail in the small print on the webpage. That is so much less disappointing then locking the screen to ifit only though.

I love this machine!! – OMG! Well, I actually bought a much cheaper and smaller treadmill, but there was a mistake on delivery and I ended up with this model, but not knowing, we opened it and put it together. After letting them know, we came to an agreement and we paid extra to keep it. Best thing ever! The treadmill is fully automated with the workouts so you don't… Read more

have to touch the controls, just focus on the task and enjoy the view. The treadmill comes with speakers, fans, Bluetooth, a 22 inch screen... the lot. Is huge though, so you better have the space for it LOL

We also have the family iFit account and we are all enjoying it. The only thing is my kids are 11 and I had to put that they were 16, as this is the minimum age for an account. It would be awesome if they had kids accounts, as with supervision, this is a good equipment for them to get active, specially since we are all in lock-sown. It is also pretty cool because they get to see other countries virtually!!

Overall, I am in love with this piece of equipment, very quiet, steady, functional... awesome!!

Read the review before you buy a Nordictrack especially in QLD – Looking the numerous videos about this treadmill with the iFit app did get me into buying one. With the current market, it took them 2-3 weeks to deliver which is understandable. I had paid for delivery and assembly. On assembling i found 3 issues 1)The treadmill when folded would scrape against the side handles. 2) The motor ran with a rubbing… Read more

and knocking noise 3) The flex cushion lever would not work as shown on the videos

It is understandable that the any product can come with issues but obviously when you pay over $4,000 for a product, such issues are a bit heartbreaking.

On contacting the service support, they said they have referred this to a repairs person (outsourced) and they would be in touch with me. I was surprised to hear the word 'repair' on a brand new item and i asked them for a replacement for which I was told if the repair person deems that it cant be fixed, the item will be replaced.

After continuously trying to contact him for 4 days, the person arrived on the 5th day. This is an issue that I would like to highlight as they have a very poor service network as the person they contract the work do although was very good at his work and he services most treadmills in Brisbane, he was way too busy.

He had fixed the lever issue as this needed more winding than normal and also the motor noise was fixed by breaking off some excess plastic next to the motor (basically a design fault). The scraping of the treadmill was fixed to a level where it stopped scraping but the running board is still not even.

After fixing all these issues, a new issue appeared where i now cannot fold the treadmill as the motor portion scrapes against the frame.

So what seems to be great product on the onset, has several issues that would need repairs. I write this review after using the treadmill for 3 days and i must say that iFit and the apps in there make the jog/run so lovable. The cushioning is quite good and you will love running on this machine for a long time.

If only the treadmill didnt come with so many issues that my experience would have been way more memorable. The service offered is very poor and I do hear that many other users have faced such issues.
