No support, it doesn't work – After being a nuttag user for several years, I renewed my GPS tracker subscription for the year, it stopped working shortly after. No answer from support telephone line which appears to be disabled with a recording saying support is not via website only. I have emailed, lodged support tickets and requested numerous call backs. All with no reply. I am now several hundred dollars down with a useless product. Do no use Show details

0 stars – Avoid this company at all costs. We purchased their expensive pet gps tracker to enable us to locate our small dachshund on our large 150 acre property. Upon realising the tracker was no longer working, we tried to contact their non existent tech support by phone and email with absolutely no response. We later found out the company was acquired by… Read more

another company. Our tracker was rendered useless, was no longer operational, we were at no time notified and we received absolutely no communication. To think we put our pets safety in such unreliable hands. I would avoid using NutTAG at all costs.

Worst in the world, do not purchase these – I got two well I ordered two got one then took over a month, receive the second one And I paid express postage they did not send it express. Worst company in the world to deal with batteries. Don’t last any more than one day doesn’t matter what setting you put them on the biggest piece of garbage and never recommend anyone get this brand. Emailed them over 10 times never receive an answer. Show details

DO NOT BUY FROM NUTTAG!!! – I purchased a Spot 4G GPS Pet Tracker inc. 2-year service plan. This pet tracker does not work. Cannot connect to the network, battery barely lasts for a day, app interface is clunky and inaccurate and Customer Service is next to non-existent. I returned mine after having to wait over a month just for a response only to have my refund request rejected. This product is a scam. If I could give it less than zero stars I would.

Keeping track of our wily Dingo/Kelpie, Tonic. A much loved companion dog for my husband (veteran) – Though I, at first, had trouble submitting an 8 character password (ended up with 10 characters before acceptance), haven't had any other issues. I had to widen the geofence beyond our property to counteract false notifications, as the instructions suggested. No problems since. Love the satellite image which shows familiar landmarks instead of… Read more

just a map image. We no longer panic if he hides himself under the house, out of sight. He did have a tendency to stray if there were any dead roo carcasses nearby (dingo side of him, methinks). Now, thanks to the Nuttag, we have real peace of mind.

Nuttag watch offline – The guardian watch that we purchased together with Telstra 1 year SIM plan showing offline on app. Because of this we could not use it for tracking my autistic son.We try to contact the nuttag but couldn’t get through the phone line We sent the email and it took the nuttag 5 weeks to contact us . For this I would give them no star. However I… Read more

would give 5 stars to very helpful staff member Sean. He fixed the problem and got the watch online again. Since I have noticed that reporting intervals are every 3 minutes instead of every 10 seconds . They should fix it for the 10 seconds. Also it goes offline from time to time. The reason I give them 3 stars is because I was told by Sea that the company is going through some restructuring and they are going to improve staff like having the new company phone number .. I will be monitoring how my kid watch performed and and update any information. Also I should mention that I have purchased a new Telstra SIM card as the nuttag sim was cancelled even we supposed to have Telstra service for another 4 months. I hope this is going to help with the similar problem and improve the nuttag performance

A "must have" for owners of canine escape artists – Some dogs are angels. Mine definitely is! Well, 99% of the time. But when, out of the blue, the chip in his brain switches to "chase mode", he is gone. Which used to be extremely stressful. Now that I've fitted his collar with a Spot Pet Tracker his rare escapes are still concerning, but but the ability to follow his movements and intercept him… Read more

are priceless. I was skeptical about the need for an expensive 4G tag but in retrospect it's been an excellent investment. An insurance policy for the dog, and good for my mental health!

A couple of suggestions for new owners. I had problems initially with the location update rate. My dogs location was only updating every 5 or 10 minutes, which is too slow when you’re trying to follow a runaway. Fortunately, after an online chat with the friendly support staff who changed the GPS frequency setting, I can track the dog down to 60 seconds.

It's quite a chunky tag. Initially I only connected it to the collar at one end. It flopped around and got in the water bowl. Definitely worth connecting it firmly at both ends, even if it means taking off the collar to charge the tag.

HA! I finally know what he gets up to! – My dog likes to vanish every now and then and was disappearing for hours sometimes. I was worried. Now i know he just roams the local neighbourhood. Its hilarious watching him on the map seeing where he's at. And we live in a pretty average mobile service area, usually about two bars of 4G, but I can just drive out to where he is and park my car… Read more

there, and he just finds me and comes home with me. Obviously fixing the hole in the fence is the ultimate solution but... this helps. Alot! My housemate has the app too, so we all know where the dog is at all times. Battery life is about four days. It charges quickly, like in one hour, and sends me reminders that it is nearly flat, so it is easy. i take the tracker off him when he is inside for the night, and i turn it off. Overall i am quite happy with it. I havent got any SOS function happening. I forget if it was supposed to have that. Its not always totally accurate, like i've had him by my side and the tracker map shows him darting all around the place. It seems when he is still, or in a building, the gps doesn't get as accurate a reading.

Fabulous support – Needed help getting 2 Guardian watches back to working, both were showing offline. Sean helped me through the steps on my side and then took the steps he needed to get them back online. One took more time than the other but Sean's help was excellent. Both watches are now working perfectly. Show details

Customer service issue – My Seek gps has stopped working so I am trying to contact customer service & the stated website number is not monitored now unlike previously. The ability to track an an elderly person is high priority so I would not recommend this brand as such for such a purpose.

Don't trust Nuttag service – Don't ever buy device from this Nuttag company, once you buy they will keep increasing yearly renew fees for sim card and even they no longer support 3G But they will still charged for whole year then inform you they no longer support your Seek Pro GPS 3G in June which mean only last just 3 month but pay for whole year and when you request for refund no response at all and just eat your money. Show details

Not what it used to be – Do not buy this product. You can still buy this product but they don't tell you there is a non existent customer service. Good when it works - terrible support when it doesn't – My 90+ father has a Seek Pro and for some reason it went offline 23/1/24. As soon as I realised on Sunday 28/1/24, I went to see my father to re-boot the NutTag. after many attempts, I couldn't get it re-booted. Being a Sunday, there is no support number that you can call immediately to get assistance. I logged a "support ticket & got confirmation… Read more

back" 28/1/24 1:28pm. I took the NutTag with me to try to contact support on Monday. To date, I still have not had a response to the Support ticket raised!!!!

As my father wasn't feeling well, I managed to get a Doctor's appointment for him on Monday 29/1/24. Trying to call Dad to advise him of the appointment I couldn't get onto him so I went around to only find him delirious on the floor covered in urine and the house in total disarray. It was obvious Dad had been down overnight.

Ambulance called and he transported to hospital only to be discharged and returned home 2/2/24. Still no NutTag!!

I tried to contact NutTag by phone, Live Chat, email on many occasions & finally booked a support call for Tuesday 6/2/24 3:45pm.

A call came from a Victorian number 3:20pm. Not knowing the number I called it back & it was the main number for NutTag. Tried to go to Option 2 (support) "unable to leave a message as the mailbox is full. Please try again later"

Finally got to speak to "someone" who told me I had to charge the Seek Pro before it could be rebooted. I explained that the charger was at my father's and for them to give me 10 minutes to get there & get it on charge. Was told that he was only there for another 10 minutes!!

He rang me back 5 minutes later & I was still in the car driving to my fathers.

Long story short - it has now been re-connected remotely. I am waiting for a report as to why it goes offline as it seems to happen frequently!!!! My poor dad is worried it's his fault.

You offer a product for the elderly to give peace of mind - this was anything but a peaceful experience!!!!

30 min. The battery defiantly didn’t last as long as advertised 3-7 days. It’s lucky to last the day. After 2 weeks the unit stopped charging properly, and after about another week it stopped charging all together. On the 10th dec I sent back as the unit was faulty. It’s now the 6th feb and I have not received a replacement or repair. Apparently the unit is being sent back to me soon. Would not recommend there are better devices out there

Its outdated interface – This GPS device fell short of expectations. Its outdated interface made navigation cumbersome, often lagging or freezing mid-use. Absolutely Useless Be Warned – Firstly the battery life was more like 8-12 hours max not 1-5 days despite 2 tech support attempts over 2 weeks to recify. Each one took 3-5 days to apparently begin to work which it didnt. The second time the tag simply went offline and was impossible to reboot. Nuttag then asked to send it back to them. after going through the most convoluted… Read more

return process for something thats now 2 weeks old and has never worked. Three more phone calls and three emails one week after the returned item was received by Nuttag no one has bothered to reply. Worst return RMA process ever. Watch out , don't say you haven't been warned – Bought the latest dog tracker . Arrived 1 week later , but upon unboxing and loading the app , the app could not locate the tag with reason 'unknown location'. Recharged/fully charged , and checked the next day , the device was showing that the last location was Melbourne, maybe the default location , as if it has never seen the tag. Tag mobile… Read more

number shows online , and on , but no location even if left on outside for over 24 hours , and rebooted several times. Checked my account and tag numbers match. Raised a ticket with Nuttag , and they seemed to suggest the registration was wrong for this device. Nuttag advised me to check my settings , even after screen shot of my settings were sent to them , as though they did not look at the attachments. Re-registered but no change in tag location. I suspect the sim was 'faulty' or 'GPS' antenna was faulty or the gps was not forwarding the location information to their server , but after reading the forum on troubleshooting , I lost confidence in this company supporting the product. I asked for a RMA to return the fault tag, and request a refund , all within the 30 days delivery policy , and following their strict return policy and guidelines, for which I qualified for a refund , with or with out the tag working , which it did not. Then I noticed the forum members expectations and real performance did not match the advertised technical expectations , for the battery life time , charging issues , I suggest anyone considering purchasing , to read the troubleshooting forum. Be wary of promises like 30 day money back guarantee , which I qualified for. Note to all the strict mandatory items in the return policy , which I followed exactly. So now approaching 4 months since purchasing, and 3 months waiting for a refund, , I get the same email response , that they are still investigating and looking into refunding me , but only after I again raise the question and request again for the refund. I don't know what to believe from this company , so now I will just expect every thing they say now is a lie , and so now I am going a different path to get my owed monies. Regarding email header "RETURN POLICY: 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed". Not true 100% means everyone, read the troubleshooting forum. Regarding email body stated "As a reminder, we offer a refund or exchange within 30 days for most products (14 days for all GPS watches) from the delivery date." Not true, 3 months later no refund after notifying them within 1 week.. Regarding email body stated "We’re committed to providing you with the best possible customer experience" Not true , they are ghosting me. Regarding email body stated "We want to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your new product." Not true in my experience. Regarding email body stated "We’re committed to providing you with the best possible customer experience, and we look forward to serving you in the future." Not true in my experience. Regarding web site stated "Works out of the box." Not true in my experience. I have an uneasy feeling dealing with this company with so many empty platitudes in every email. I am also dubious now about claims of the award they received , and all their 'partners'. Check your terms and conditions too , any social media feedback they don't like can be deleted. They also own or affiliated with https://iottag.com/. and https://www.cellcast.com/au/about-us . Follow up..... another month later, I was refunded after making a booking to have someone ring me back and after negative feedback on facebook.

Support is terrible – Tracker works but runs out of battery very quickly. Ad if you need support expect to wait a week or more. Don't bother calling they don't answer. Don't bother putting in a support ticket I put in 4 and no one got back tome. You can book a phone call but as I said expect to wait a week.

Best thing available afaik – We had the older 3g model, redundant now, when we lived on a bush block and our doggo would run off from time to time. I don't know of any other tracker that uses propper cell network in Australia, so this was the best option I could find. ( Only one that worked at all in rural areas) Worked almost perfectly if you leave it on 5 second refresh(… Read more

fastest refresh rate lowest battery life) since I was always live tracking him when he escaped.

Sometimes he left cell signal range and then it's game over until he finds signal again, no fault in that just a curse of where we lived.

Sometimes the app would struggle to change between refresh rates, or find him at all. Hence why we left it on 5 second refresh all the time.

This was an old model, I'm sure much has improved. I'd love to try the new one if we ever have need.

Very good device to keep track of my kid – Really like the device, it gives us peace of mind when our kid is going to the park, on a bicycle ride, etc. It does not give you the temp reading as the add on their website when we first bought it, the app also indicates temp but is just a -°, but not a major drama. Battery lasts a long time too. Show details
