Oak Road Estate

This company is using a bot to call me twice a day every day. I do not drink wine and I have reported the conduct but they won’t stop. They have been fined already by the government for doing this to many people.

ABSOLUTE FRAUD – I tried to return 2 cases of very ordinary wine. After trying to get out of it any way possible, they agreed. The very next day 2 more cases of the same wine was delivered and they took payment from my CC. After more arguments they agreed to get Australia Post to pick it up. had Pre printed labels for the 4 cases. Days later The Wine Concierge rang me and asked if I was going to return the wine????? They maintain they knew nothing about the pickup. It seems the extra 2 cases enabled the fraudulent pickup to be worthwhile. Fortunately I have pictorial records of the pick up, and am actively pursuing the matter. In spite of all this I am still being inundated with calls selling wine. The phone numbers they have quoted are inoperative and I have had no response to my written reply. More to follow

Spam harassment and constant calls from them – Awful spam company who harass you constantly and do not respond to calls or request to be removed from bot calls. I have received >30 calls since the start of november from their bot caller on different numbers and have consistently requested to be removed from their contact list. I did not sign up.

what I know' person, as I don't know much about wines. But I was given lots to think about; perhaps needed a little more time. I did get a recall to buy more, hey, Im only just received 2 cases, no one drinks or stores that much wine, but with another negotiation to call back in a month, they eased off. Definitely feel I got a good deal and will probably buy more, it saved me from popping up to the local and buy the same old same.

Love the ease of ordering with Oak Road Estate – The really helpful team at Oak Road estate keep in touch and manage my orders perfectly. The wines are lovely and it's nice to try something different now and then. Angus is a gem and so polite on the phone.

Fabulous service – I ordered a box of sparkling wine. It arrived two days later! Super fast! The price was exceptional too. Will definitely be ordering through this company again.

Very very poor quality. It was off – Every bottle tasted like vinegar.. They were OFF! Contacted them and told them it was all off.. they stopped replying and refused to give a refund.

Nothing but constant harassment from these clowns – I’ve bought from here and had really nice wine. But they are relentless. When you say you have enough they just keep badgering you. what, they call me on another number. These guys need to be shutdown. So many complaints to about them too. It’s a disgrace that they can get away with allowing their cowboy staff abusing people.

Product and prices good but be wary – I’ve brought a number of cases from this group and happy with the price and the wine. HOWEVER be aware you will be pestered with calls all the time from various land line and mobile numbers, at all times of the day by commission driven salesmen. Now I see they have processed the order anyway. This is the last straw for me, knowing they have my credit card details and that they will charge it against my will is it for me.

No wine delivered and shocking customer service – I ordered a case of wine and after a week have followed up every 2 days on the progress (it’s now 2 weeks with zero communication). The auto email gives me a tracking number which does not exist and when I message the company, they ‘promise’ they will track the order - but they never get back to me. I’m embarrassed to say, I think I have been scammed by this company which doesn’t even have a phone number to talk to.

Nice wine – THEY HARASSED ME AND CALL TOO OFTEN, LIKE 2 TIMES A WEEK OR EVERY FORTNIGHT. Asked to be left alone and to be put on the DoNot Call list and the calls increased. till I could afford it as it was a premium wine, which I'd never bought anyway. I begged them to stop calling me, told them I would never buy from them again, they had lost me as a customer due to the harrassment - I couldn't be more clearer than that... but the calls continue. I hate being rude, but now as soon as I answer and they say it's Oak Road I hang up and block that number. Only to get a call from another. And where they say below call and ask their customer service to take you off the list..... Surely every time I said remove me from your list that should suffice. Never had a problem with any of the wines, but the harrassment and not taking no for an answer left a very bad after taste rather than enjoyable.

Don't buy from them – Ordered a wine on-line and it then took 2 months to get a refund after they finally admitted wine was not available - it took multiple phone calls and 7 emails to get my money back!! recommend not to use this organisation or affiliated org (The Wine Club, The Wine Concierge Service). Note they have even shutdown their website due to so many bad reviews.

Not a bad option – I believe their wines are fine for the price. When I receive a sales call, they are aware of my preferences so my time isn't wasted trying to sell me something I wont purchase. But they do call too often.

If they call you from Oak Rd, The Wine Group etc, HANG UP! – I purchased a few cases over a few months until an order didn't even show up. I tried contacting them repeatedly via the phone numbers they called me on and they wouldn't answer or promised a call back but never replied. Spam calls – Oak Road Estate and The Wine Group have been fined by Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) who found it breached multiple spam and telemarketing laws. Yet, they still continue to spam me with calls from different numbers.

Atrocious customer service – I’ve been sent the wrong wines , shipments turned up in two deliveries ( days apart ) . Constant phone calls asking me to purchase more … Would not recommend purchasing anything from these people !!! Would have given zero stars if I could !!!

Okay wine: wrongfully promoted – While the wine is cheap, the salesperson made a 'deliberate' mistake on the rating of the wine. He said it was a 96 rated red. Halliday rated wine of 96 points from the Barossa at $9 each delivered to my house? Glad I only purchased a dozen. Wife could only handle a sip and I have most (I drank some bottles as they are not worth cellaring and I regard them as glass bottle versions of cask wine) of the wines on a shelf for desperate times. Oh, the wines are not from the Barossa either, they are labelled South Eastern Australian. I would appreciate honesty from the sales team in future transactions. NOT a happy camper!

Just OK at best – During the phone conversation, I was told that these wines, both red and wine are really great and have been very reduced in price. They turned out to be just OK. The only advantage for Oak Road Estate id that the wine is delivered. Both Dan Murphy and Aldi sell better wines for a lower price.

Too many phone calls! – The wine is very good and the prices are very reasonable. However, it is extremely frustrating to get so many phone calls from this supplier. Great wines, great prices, too many calls are annoying – I love the wines, I like the pricetag, but there are too many phone calls. I asked to call less, but still I get a call monthly. I don't drink a case a month. Please call only when needed upon my request

disappointed – HI, Ordered a case of wine a few weeks ago, didnt arrive. Received a call this week and ordered two new cases. I asked where the previous case was, I was told it would arrive with the two I ordered. It DID NOT!

Pretty Poor Delivery record – Rarely if ever is tracking information provided - even when requested. Follow up and updates have to be sought, not volunteered. As far as delivery is concerned 2 stars is generous. However, if and when you get the wine it is very good. Just get rid of Australia Post
