Customer service is STILL a train wreck – Sadly I am going through a somewhat similar experience to 'Cervix Couch'. I placed an order on 16 August, totalling $354.15 for two items. app, politely asking for an update. Two days passes, no response. So on 20 September I decided to email them, again politely asking them for an update. Again, 2 days passes before I FINALLY get a response on 22 September, from a person providing a flimsy apology and that they'll express post it the following week.
All excitement I had for the items were long gone and I no longer wanted them. I had initiated a 'disputed transaction for goods and services not received' via my bank when I was waiting for a response to my email, as I had no faith they were even going to respond to me. I advised the person via email that I no longer wanted the items, had initiated a dispute via my bank and would like a refund. Again, I get a flimsy apology and they say they will wait for the bank to deduct the amount from their account.
It's now 10 October 2023. The bank aren't making it any easier for me to get my money back, asking for things like supporting documentation. So here I am, 2 months later, $354.15 down, chasing my tail trying to get my money back for an issue that was in no way my fault. That amount of money is not small to me, it's money I worked hard for and like 'Cervix Couch' said, I just want it back.
I'm so disappointed in OATS. It was a big decision for me to even decide to make the purchase - this was my first ever OATS order and I was truly excited to own a couple of their pieces to prance around in for the summer, and trust me, I would've looked GOOOD. Shame on you for treating your customers this way. Stop taking people's money if you can't keep up your end of the bargain.

in a different colour assuming that I would be okay with it, ya know, as if the dress wasn't $160. They request I post the dress back at my own cost for a refund, done. Dress arrives and I'm told I will receive my refund + postage costs that day. I wait two days, ask for a confirmation email - no response. I ask three days later if my refund has been processed, they say it has and "should come through today".... that was yesterday, my paypal is empty and they're not responding to my messages. Pretty horrific even for a small handmade family business. I've heard of others being entirely underwhelmed with their products and service, might be something to keep in mind. I just want my $180 back haha.
