Great! For a very short time – Nothing like a 12 month warranty when the product lasts 18 months … what a waste of money.

Purchased in at Officeworks for $69.

The service matches the name :) – We bought 6 Brilliant Smart Plugs from Officeworks to make our Google Home devices more useful. They work without any hassle at all. The Brilliant app does the job well. While away on holidays it made our home look lived in and provided peace of mind. The interfacing with Google Assistant was a breeze. Although it was not my primary reason for purchasing, the fact they have a USB charging port is a bonus. Of the six I purchased (over two years ago) five are still fully functional. I sent an email to Brilliant asking for some advice on how to reset one that would not play nice with my setup. Here's the thing, they acknowledged my email and rang me back the next business day. I am pleasantly surprised and super impressed with the professional and personal assistance from Sebastian! I absolutely recommend this company for its outstanding service.

Purchased in at Officeworks for $100.

Junk. Worked for 1 year only – Junk. Lost wi fi lock. I cannot get it back onto the network. 2.4 only. I am a systems engineer. A waste of money.

Purchased in at Officeworks Physical store for $20.

Works well at an affordable price – We bought 3 of these devices as an experiment to make our Google Home devices more useful. They work without any hassle at all. The Brilliant app is a bit minimal but does the job well. The interfacing with Google Assistant also was easy and intuitive to set up. I have used IFTTT to get different responses to a command as an experiment and it took about 5 mins to get my head around how to do it. They also have a USB charging ports (although they are not much use if the intended use for the devices is to control remotely hard to get at devices). There are no bad points and they work without any trouble setting up. Almost boring really once they are set up. All in all the only reason I gave them 4 stars is because of the app not being very slick. So should be 4.5 stars.
