Oris Aquis Titan Chronograph

Beware what’s covered under warranty – I bought this watch while travelling in Europe because there was more of a range there. It wasn’t any cheaper than buying in Australia. I was living in Sydney at the time. It was supposedly covered by a worldwide warranty. The watch is but the band isn’t. They took off two links and cross threaded the screw. I wore it for 3 months before I caught the screw sticking out before it fell off my wrist. It went into its case then into a drawer.
Two years later, my wife went to Wallace Bishop in Townsville to get a new watch band. Almost $710 and 1 month later, I got my watch back. It suffered the same issue 6 months later (screw coming out). We moved back to Sydney 5 months after I got my watch back.
It’s now 2.5 years later, I’m back in Townsville and I’m going to go to that Wallace Bishop to explain the issue.
I’ve had a total of 9 months use for a watch that is meant to be a premium product. It’s too bad the necessary care isn’t taken for a simple thing like removing links then correctly tightening the screws. It’s a nice watch and a shame that the following events prevented using it for a long time.
Edit: The issue has been solved simply in-store with Wallace Bishop. They were very helpful.
