Good quality product but not ideal for wood paling fences – Brackets and fixing screws allow for too much movement that can enable rollers to fall out of mountings especially if the top of the fence is not horizontal.

impressed with their lack of professionalism and poor inventory management.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, they emailed and told me there would be another three week delay, on top of an already month delay, this is their second failure. I emailed them back and told them I would be happy to retain my order but again however I was not impressed with their lack of professionalism and for failing to deliver as originally promised and now delaying again.

They then emailed me and and instead of apologising or offering any form of compensation, they proceeded to blame me for their under-staffed business operations, lack of professionalism and poor communication. They then cancelled my order, without my permission or agreement.

I have ordered a lot of products from a lot of businesses over the years, but these guys have to be the worst Australian business I have ever dealt with. Not only did they take my money without having any stock, putting my cats health and safety at risk (any many others), they then delayed the dispatch date TWICE, and then cancelled my order without my permission.

Absolutely disgraceful, unethical and unprofessional company and not only will I not be buying anything from them ever again, but I will go out of my way to ensure others know how poorly they run their business.

Not great for timber fencing – Unfortunately I’ve had to update my review. My cat can escape the yard even with oscilot installed. Might work well for colourbond, but not so well for timber fencing. Going to replace with mesh.

jump up a couple of times and after no luck they just don’t try as that spinning paddle gives them no joy lol. We love that they are safe and secure in the yard and not locked inside. Highly recommend Oscillot.

grabbing one of the joint bolts, and proceeded to go to the neighbor's garden. I have reached out to the distributor, all answer was just put pots of plants in the joints. I feel I have wasted $600 (plus the additional adjustments I needed to do to the garden wall to fits the requirements.)

Cat roller didn’t work for our ninja cat – Bought from Stratco yesterday and installed it that afternoon, to stop our boy jumping out of the back garden. Keeps my wife’s Siamese cats safe – The most unobtrusive solution we could find and works perfectly. Installation only took 2 hours for 24 metres of fence. We needed some extra screws as we lost some and the company was happy to post out free of charge so great customer service too.  Show details

This product does not work at all for my car – This product does not contain my cat at all and keeps on falling off the fence. We tried to transfer it in the position the owner told us to use , but it does not stay on the fence at all. They did not give me back my full refund as well. Not escape proof - no response from Oscillot – I installed Oscillot cat fence a year or so ago, I was pleased with how it looked and it was relatively easy to install. was used to staying in the garden and had never even tried to jump the fence.

Recently a neighbouring cat started coming in the garden, I have no issue with this as Oscillot doesn’t claim to stop cats getting in. He is able to get out of the garden in seconds though, and with no struggle whatsoever.

I have a new kitten who is now old enough to go out so made adaptations as previously suggested by adding polycarbonate to the top of the fence, this has had no effect and he’s still able to get over the Oscillot with ease. The Oscillot is installed with brackets as per the manufacturer guidelines, it’s the correct height and even with the added measures the Oscillot is completely pointless.

I emailed Oscillot twice with a video of the escape asking for advice, I've had no response whatsoever yet they’re posting on their Facebook page pretty much every day so don’t expect any support if the product doesn’t work.

Edit to add: You'll notice that there are lots of reviews on the Oscillot website itself, yet there is no way to leave a review without Oscillot sending you a link to do so. They don't reply to emails (or a social media direct message) so I'm unable to leave an factual review on the Oscillot site warning others of the issues with Oscillot fencing. Are only positive reviews allowed through by Oscillot?

Doesn't work for all cats – My father was advised to install this when he bought a unit in a retirement village. They required it to be professionally installed. Over $700 later, one cat kept escaping. The cat would climb up the fence, hook one front leg over the paddles to stop them rotating, then get over. be accessed. I had previously lost my cat's brother from a yard that had no system in place. The Oscillot system came as a DIY with excellent installation instructions. I was impressed that the materials were high quality and the fence was easy to install. Most importantly, my cat has been unable to leave my property. He carefully considered the new fence installation and had 2 attempts to leave, but was unable to due to the rotating paddles. His quality of life is significantly better as he can go outside when he wants and he prefers to do so for toileting. I now have some confidence that I won't loose him as I did his brother.
