make cleaning easy. Handles are nice and long for leverage. Although it takes up a bit of room to store, once you've tried mashed potatoes through a ricer, you'll never look back. Potatoes that are mashed are always lumpy and tacky. I steam potatoes with the skin on until cooked, then peel the skin off and put them through the ricer while they're still warm. Add a heap of salted butter and freshly cracked black pepper for the most heavenly mash.

Bought Oxo Good Grips Potato Ricer. Read instructions. Gadget is very hard to use if you have small hands and /or artgritis in your hands. Cant get disk off to clean without help from someone with bigger hands. Will give to a family member as is too difficult for me to use. On tge lookout for an easier one to use.
