OK For Price – Does the job OK. Has a problem with the on/off switch very stiff and makes the machine dangerous when you want to turn off while still running.Have an Ozito oscillating saw, this is a good machine have not been able to faulty it.Used it for removing grout between tiles in bathroom, also for cutting outdoor ceramic tiles.  Show details

Not the best angle grinder – I used this one for a while before giving it back as I was not impressed. The biggest problem I noticed off the bat was how difficult the switch was to use. It is very hard to turn in sometimes and nearly impossible to turn off on occasion making it very unsafe. A few times I had to turn it off at the power point before fiddling with the… Read more

switch.

Also it’s cooling fan blasts you straight in the face.

On the plus side it had plenty of cutting power and didn’t slow or bog down on heavier cuts and could run continuously for extended periods.

Over all I don’t recommend it. Spend $30-$50 more and get a better Grinder.

It's flaws treat left handers kindly – Picked one up today from Bunnings for $29 as I needed a small grinder asap. Set it up and then proceeded to disembowel a queen bed inner-spring cutting each spring out individually. The inner-spring wire is high tensile steel and takes a fair bit of cutting. I throttled the Ozito for two hours solid without an issue. I'm left handed so I noticed… Read more

the power button issue straight away although it didn't bother me too much as my left handed grip kept the power button locked in naturally. Felt that blast of air too...but fixed it by changing hands (I was holding it in my right hand).

For the measly price tag...it did what I needed to do easily.

Major design flaws – Bought this angle grinder from Bunnings, cheap and was assured replacement was not an issue if I had problems within the 3 year warranty period, Was using it to cut tiles, runs well and no issues with power etc. but like other reviewers, within a few cuts, had problems with the switch (difficult to turn on, and then often not locking into place… Read more

for continuous running). This became worse with each day. Also the motor cooling air blasts straight into your face when using it in your right hand and holding vertically to cut tiles. As you can imagine tile dust and chips blasted into your face is a problem, and within seconds my safety glasses were filled with dust and I was virtually blind. Returned it after 2 weeks (OK I am a slow tiler), and to give Bunnings due credit, the refunded my money and I bought a Makita. 100% better and worth the extra 30 odd $

Powerfull but switch makes it useless – Same as many reviewers have mentioned previously - THE SWITCH HAS A FAULTY DESIGN - it's difficult to switch on and off and makes this grinder unsafe. I wish Ozito had recalled this product before the discontinued it. Frustrating & unsafe to use & I really wish I had spent double the money on another brand.

Faulty power switch – Purchased from Bunnings for light use. Power switch hard to use even without gloves and eventually unable to use safely as switch was unable to turn on or off without disconnecting from power. Totally unsafe product and should be recalled. Returned and obtained refund. Would not recommend due to faulty unsafe switch.

Sore eyes – As a tiler I found this grinder not suitable. Plenty powerfull but the tile dust goes straight up into your eyes!! Get what u pay for I guess!

Gets the job done! – needed a grinder to grind old rusted bolts from the step treads and do some rust repair work on railings, whent into bunnings andwas handed this one, i thought it was going to be rubbish, but for the price it turns out great, been using it for 12 months now and has had a lot of use, still going strong.. power button is not the best tho, cheap and works. power switch

Ok to use – Ok to use but really hard to turn the switch on, really be annoyed when gloves on. Have to remove gloves and unplug to turn it on and then replug. Recently I have to use a screw driver to push to turn switch on. Yet still ok for a small job. Cheap power switch too hard to turn on

Hard to operate the switch – Cheap but only bought to cut a few bolts etc. So far done the job well on a couple of small jobs. Difficult to switch on and off. Can be a bit hazardous as you can be fumbling around to kill the thing, especially if you have a thick pair of gloves on. Would probably help to have some sort of warning not to hit thew lock button (to lock… Read more

the spindle) while it is powered (will break unit) - there is a warning in the instructions, but someone who didn't know any better might destory the unit. Price POwer switch hard to operate

Danger to unexperinced uses – Does the job but after awhile the switch to turn it on with gets hard to use. Also the gaurd on the maxhine come lose, so you tighten the gaurd up and the grinding disc's then cuts into it. So if you want to get one go for a 5inch disc grinder as it still has the squeeze trigger to operate the machine. On & off switch as it gets very hard to turn on, & starts to destroy the safety in using the grinder

OK – This product is great for small jobs, not too sure how it would handle frequent use but worth the money for small jobs. Nice and cheap- paid $39.95, very easy to use as I have never used an angle grinder before. We used it for cutting tiles and it worked great! Side handle can be transferred to either left or right side dendending on your needs Cannot be used for wet grinding
