Ozito 550W OZLT550WA Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: OZLT550WACan I fit a slasher blade in place of the line trimmer to my unit? If so how do I get the existing LT head off?
thanks Laurie for your question. i regret to say i have no experience with trying your idea out. just be careful with improvising. cheers malcolm
thank you Malcolm. promoters say their units are universal and fit all line trimmers but offer no other guidance.
How much are they worth these days
Can I get a refund on this product as I have never been so frustrated in my life having to stop every 5 seconds to reload the spool. I am not happy and after reading the reviews it seems that this is a product flaw?
How do l change the line?
Follow the instructions, not easy, you need to do it 4 or 5 times to get the idea. If it is not coming out you did wrong way, sorry I cant write down how, maybe someone wil do a video
Bought a Ozito cordless grass trimmer. How can I use this as an edger? It's my very first time doing this sort of work! Thanks.
There is a red button on the handle, the whole thing turns around, placing the wheel on the concrete to do edge. This machine is lightweight and chews thru cord, but sort of gets the job done, AND so easy to handle if you have arthritis, cheap too. I wish it was more gooder but once you get the hang of it, all good. Get the man in the mower shop to put in the cord, and show you, buy some more 2 mm green nylon copolymer Trailblazer line $10 Make sure you push the line in the hole fully before winding on the head spool
Bob, thank you for your prompt reply. The Ozito that I bought does not have that nylon cord, but a blade which is very easy to attach. Yes it is very lightweight indeed! Will have to check everything out another day. Thanks once again & have a good day! :)
Just bought one. Took a while to assemble. Line lasts about 20 seconds and then no auto feed.
Should I get better quality line than it was sold with or is it just a piece of crap?
From my experience the line has nothing to do with it as it doesn't automatically feed. Also I have two spare rolls and a machine I used twice.
Not happy with the product at all.
I haven't even started using it, the thread on the handle isn't long enough to attach a nut to. Already regretting buying this unit. Unless I'm missing something the thread is too short.
Never had this problem but I took my product back to where it was purchased and received new "lines" but still same problem - Have since learnt all "self-adjusting" lines don't work. Did notice several other units coming back in. Just purchased a new model battery operated unit and the Charger was faulty - 3 trips back to the agent.
OZITO - NO GO. Good luck with the nut problem.
You gotte learn how it works, people too quick to judge. Was altogether when you bought it? Cheap and cheerful, but you have to work at it, mine works Ok but tricky
Got a new one - how hard do you bump it? No matter what I do, it won't feed out the cord :(
My Ozito doesn't feed ott line by bumping. You let it stop, then when you restart it let's it extra line. Check the manual.
There is a warning on the trimmer not to 'Bump'
