Bought this 2007 model, very happy but soooo Heavy – Happy with everything but don't try moving it by yourself. It's weight is the only negative I can come up with. Waiting to see how much more electricity it uses. I have been told the Plasma uses more power than LCD. Anyway for an 11 year old TV, can't complain and at $100.00 the price was right.  Show details

Excellent – Bought this TV 10 years ago, still going strong! Picture is perfect, remote response is fast. The colour reproduction and refresh rate set it apart from any modern LED/LCD on sale today. Also the built in speakers produce high quality surround sound without the need for an external sound bar  Show details

Very very good – Have had mine for more than 5 years and it never skipped a beat. Very good picture. ESpecially for sport. Very easy remote. Solid and well built. Has moved it to five different locations as I've moved house often. Always transpported it upright and it is still as reliable as the day I bought it. I have never been disappointed by any Panasonic product. Everything. No picture blur when watching sport.

Good – I love having a nice big telly which is clear and has a good sound. It also looks pretty good in our renovated family room We bought this television at a great price as it was getting towards the end of HD (not "full HD") televisions. So it only cost $1200. I was reticent about purchasing a plasma as my sister's who bought one (a very expensive… Read more

one) 7 years ago has broken down about 3 times, so we also got a 5 year warranty. So far so good, no problems and has a lovely picture. I also think the sound is great. It is all a massive improvement on our old CRT telly. I also like the simple matt surround I think it uses a fair bit of power as the screen is warm to touch, so that is not a good thing

So far so good ! – The colours are sharp and bright, it is easy to follow the manual, the remote is easy too. The screen can get scratched so you need to be careful if you have little kids but minute scratches doesn't affect the display. We love it, great brand and wish to mount it on wall when we have time! Wide viewing angle

Terrible – Seems to be a common problem no that I've searched a bit online and these TVs are getting a bit of use. Panasonic still haven't returned my emails regarding this issue either. Sames as others with regards to picure quality, etc. All very good Stopped working about 5 weeks out of warranty. Blinking red light and no picture.

Terrible – I wouldnt recommend this TV with potential for such poor reliability. Regardless of the Pros, there is no point in having a TV thats doesnt work. Its a simple TV and easy to use. Picture quality is good Poor reliability - It's broken, no picture and just 2 weeks after the 1 year Warranty expires - amazing.

Bad – Whats the point of a good picture if it doesn't work. That they didnt do a recall will stop me buying Panasonic again. All the same as everybody else has said, it's great. Stopped working entirely 1 mnth out of warranty

Excellent – i really like this tv, and compared to the Sony and LG tv's this is great value for money! provided you keep the tv in a well ventaled area so it doesnt over heat, it should provide you with years of enjoyment. the best feature by far on this television unit is the easy to use remote. the button are big, and they writing on the buttons are clear.… Read more

Other features of this product i really liked is the wide viewing angle. it allows the viewer to sit almost 150 degree from the tv and still see the picture with out glare. the tv over heats alot, but that is normal for most big tv these days.

Excellent – I have had this TV for 18 months. It is my first Plasma so I have nothing to compare with, but I cant see that I could have bought better, as I cant find anything but good to say about this TV. My sister has one also and thinks the same about hers. Fantastic picture, good sound, easy to follow menu.

Excellent – Great TV, and all Pana Plasma's seem to have the edge over others with functions and quality! Did heaps of research and glad I picked Panasonic Like others, easy setup & fantastic picture, with so far no problems. Also good to have reminder to scan new channels pop up when they are available. None so far, except glare from direct sunlight can be a bit annoying late in the arvo

Excellent – Great plasma panel television, deep levels of black and contrast. Easy to set up and use. With excellent purchase prices available makes it hard to go past. Before purchasing this Panasonic model I previewed similar panels from Phillips, Samsumg and Lg. I was very impressed by the contrasts and deep levels of black. I did consider LCD panels as… Read more

well but doing a one on one comparison I believe the Panasonic has a far superior picture. Set up and operation is simple with the new owner only having to press set up and all channels are scaned and loaded. The television has a favorites function so multiple sets of channels can be gruoped together. It has two HDMI inputs in the rear and comes with a quality stand. There is also four other inputs in the rear of the television such as component and S Video. There is the option of viera link connection with other Panasonic items like dvd recorders etc. These televisions are often on specail at major stores so the price is can be well below normal retail. Front HDMI inputs and perhaps SD card inputs would help future proof it a little.

Excellent – I prefer plasma over LCD, I have compared both side by side and in viewing the plasma seems to give better clarity and true to life colors. This unit is very easy to set up and use with amble connection points for external equipment (eg. DVD recorder, surround sound systems etc.). I ended up preferring this over Pioneer and Samsung even though… Read more

both were comparable in picture quality but this beat both in price. great quality for the price, sharp picture with in built HDTV tuner and HDMI inputs, great reputation for reliability, true blacks on screen with terrific contrast and sharpness some glare can be noticed from some angles

Excellent – I've had this TV for the last month and I am very pleased so far. Picture quality is superb, with vibrant colours and deep blacks. The av connections on the front are useful to plug in occasional equipment (video camera, for example). Set-up was so simple - turn it on, press auto-tune and you're set within a couple of minutes. I looked at Samsung… Read more

and LG models but picked the Panasonic due to the quality image of the manufacturer. The TV also had a more understated look compared to the other two manufacturers. Sound quality is good through the hidden speakers. I have no problems with glare from external light, which is something I was warned about before buying. The 12 month warranty is less than both the Samsung and LG models, but hopefully that will not matter. All in all, this was a great buy at a good price. Reliable brand, ease of set-up, superb picture quality, front av connections

Excellent – I love this television. The quality is extremely good. It is sharp and the colours are true. It is large enough even for a considerably sized room and I know that I made the right choice in this brand. We are in the valley and most of the time cannot get SBS but that is not a fault of the television. When the weather is particularly bad there… Read more

are occasions when it jumps around a little, but that is a rare occurrence. absolutely everything - have had it for about 3 months and have certainly not had any problems whatsoever what's not to like?????

Good – This is a tv that I would recommend anyone to purchase who wants a quality product. It is reliable and quite affordable too. The only slight issue is tat our tv is on the wall which makes it tricky to add and take out cables. The audio and picture quality is superb and I must say compared to many other products out there this one is more at the… Read more

top end due to its quality, features and ease of use. Reliable, no problems with it after a year and easy to use. Picture quality is great for 1080i. Nothing at all.

Good – I purchased this panel after a lot of research and am very glad I did. It has arguably one of the best and sharpest pictures available. It is great value for money. I recommend the 70A to anyone who wants a first class plasma panel with built in HD tuner. Fantastic HD picture quality, very intuitive GUI with great function menus and the option to… Read more

Excellent – If you want an affordable TV with a great picture then I am telling ALL my frinds to go with a Viera. Its hard to fault it. Great value, works perfectly. Great picture. Excellent quality.Lots of inputs and outputs. It would be nice to be able to access the in and outputs if they were lower down on the back. Getting to them if the TV is wall mounted is a little difficult.

Excellent – Would recommend this television to any who are thinking of purchasing a plasma. A very reliable unit over the past 24 months and no complaints about the quality. Great picture. Remote is easy to use. Sound is excellent. None in the 12 months we've had it. No service required.
