Petkit Eversweet Solo

No longer a decent product – I have used these fountains for a couple of years. The filters have changed and do not last as long as they used too. Contacted the company who gave me a standard response. Will not continue to use or recommend to our veterinary clients.

Love it! – I have 2 cats and a Puppy, so They go through a fair amount of water. With my previous dog I had the typical water bowl and usually by the end of the end of the day the water was out. The cats started to drink out of my fish tanks which made me think why and I realised that they love the running water. So when my last dog passed away I splurge on this fountain. It did solve most of the issue of the cats drinking out of the fish tanks. So the water must taste better, I do find that the water is always clean, no debris on it so I think its better for the cats too.

Now we got a puppy not so long ago and I was afraid she would not like drinking out of that so I did put a water bowl next to it so she could drink. Well she never used the bowl and went straight for the fountain, no issue at all. There is enough water to last a couple of days probably more by I refill it regularly.

I like the fact that the usb power cord is long enough to reach a wall socket that isn't too close, you can have it running constantly or on a 3 min timer on, 3 min off. The timer should help reduce the need to change the filter every 3 weeks to about 6 weeks. It's been 6 weeks that I had it running for the first time and yes I can see that the filter is getting "clogged" now, I have replacement filter on the way but the delivery delay is pushing the change to about 7 weeks. I have rinsed it more thoroughly this week and I should get a little longer out of it. I clean the top tray every couple of days, I clean the entire unit every week, it's easy and it doesn't take much more time than cleaning a bowl.

So I think it's a good spending if you have a couple of pets, perfect for cats, the dogs I will have to do another addition to this review as I only have a puppy cocker spaniel. I don't think it's suitable for medium large dog and bigger breed, as the top bowl isn't large enough for them but at the moment it suits my pets fine and I am very happy with this purchase.
