Poor quality, even worse service – Bought the Phillips SimplyGo Oxygen Concentrator in November 2019. It worked OK for a while (4 months) and then died in March 2020. Returned to seller (Easycare Australa) for repair. They replaced filter, sieve and compressor as all were faulty. Haven't needed to use the unit much in the last 12 months but now that I need it again it has stopped… Read more

working. Even with a 2 year warranty not yet expired, Easycare want a $400 fee to service, as they say that a filter will automatically need replacing (without even seeing or testing the unit). Easycare told me that if I don't like it then try to find someone else to do it. Tried to contact Phillips but after trying a few phone numbers and a number of internet searches could not find anyone to deal with the matter. Despite Phillips claiming a unit lifetime of many thousands of hours mine has only done 116 hours and has broken down twice.

Faulty, troublesome device – PROS - Compact and fairly light - Wheeled trolley makes it easy to use CONS - Very expensive. About $5000 for the concentrator and two batteries - Faulty. After a year or so, it began giving us a lot of noisy alerts that something was wrong. Finally we sent it back and they told us they replaced rather than repaired it. However, the new machine… Read more

immediately started running out of charge within 30 minutes, instead of operating for hours as it is supposed to do. When we contacted the retailer they said the likely cause was the batteries reaching the end of their life after two years! So as things currently stand we have had to buy a new battery for $400 to test if that is the problem.

Based on our experience I would not recommend this device at all. For the price you would expect premium quality and durability, but the reliability seems to be the opposite.
