What a spectacular waste of money – The speaker sounds great. But the speaker is marketed as a wifi speaker, and is hopeless at being one. It support only DLNA and the implementation by Pioneer is really poor. The speaker was released on 2012 and latest firmware is from 2014. What a load of crap. Show details
Andriod – Is this device compatible with android or only Apple products.. Is there a way to connect to android. Do I have to buy a iPhone.. I thought it was compatible with apple and android products Show details
Works well being controlled via UPnP App – I've just finished testing the XW-SMA3 using my Gizmoot for XW-SMA3 Android App and found that the sound quality is good and I was able to stream lots of radio stations, podcasts and audio books from the internet. I had to switch the XW-SMA3 off/on after starting the Gizmoot for XW-SMA3 App in order for it to appear in the list of players. Show details
Don't waste your time – Air play connection seems to be a pain , have spent hours trying to connect this to my network .seems that I'm not the only one that's had the same issues . Waste of time and money . Was looking at 4 units , now getting my money back . Nothing To much trouble to setup
Excellent wireless speaker – I bought a Pioneer XW-SMA3-K wireless speaker from JB Hifi a few months ago and haven't regretted the purchase. Sound is great (and I'm pretty picky). Good treble, mid and bass ranges. Portability is a very useful feature. I connect my Ipad and Iphone to it very easily through Airplay. Airplay capability, portability, good sound Bass control would be good
Pioneer A3 micro Hifi wireless - AMAZING!!! – These are amazing portable, loud, rich sounds with depth of bass, small but strong output, A3 was water restistant and rechargble which is a massive factor to people going on holidays. Wifi took some time to connect due to large shopping centre and structure, but once connected you were listening to extremely amazing sound, with also a subwoofer… Read more
for the A4. They were all good different one for different purposes:) the warranty is extremely good, the lady had told me personally she had to send one off for faulty, couldnt fix, so she got a new one, this was in the first year of manufacters warranty. I also bought the extended warranty with their company for extremely little and it would be a direct replacement, no sending away, just call a number, and it will be most likely fixed in the first 2 weeks!!! Wow it was great:)))
So 3 years warranty for a pioneer A3 which I bought for $397, wifi and rechargeable, which wireless is the latest technology!! I grab an awesome money saving deal:) warranty 2 extra years was $52.50 for any malfunctions. Which they ladie had told me even if a button stops working it will cost me 50$ to get it fixed by someone, or something as serious as the wireless stops functioning, you will be best off buying a new one.
Extremely helpful, good product knowledge, great sounding devise, easy to use, does still change and play different phones:) good price for on sale, rechargeable upto 6 hours, I will say I get about 4 ish due to increase of volume:) which I was explained before buying too.
Extremely loud and no distortion when loudest.
Can put a direct LAN into it aswell for none wireless. Has USB charging on the back and aux for none wireless.
Its fantastic and pioneer has definately held to the quality they produce in products:) A1 small, neat, amazing sound, A3 same as A1 but water resistant and rechargble, A4 bigger, louder, subwoofer, extremely clear deep music sounds Expensive, they are $397 for A1 and A3 and A4 $497, worth the quality though. They were on sale at the time $100 cheaper. I bought the A3:) it does drain your phone abit quicker while steaming music.
