This is a scam! Can't contact them anymore – I have purchased a whole bunch of services from them, but they didn't deliver the service. I paid for the website, logo registration, and copyright registration. I reported to my credit card bank to get a refund due to the fault activities. You can try through your credit card bank to get back your money.

They scammed me – SCAM ALERT-This business scammed me $1,800. I paid for a logo and they requested a fee to register the logo. They created a fake regustration certificate. also paid fot their services to create a website for my business. They never completed it and would not answer my calls or return my calls. I have sent them numerous emails and they didn’r respond.

Horrible experience, ripped off – Purchased logo design package, received this then hit you up for more money to own the design. Nothing listed in fine print, no abn found, charge gst however not registered or correctly calculated. Threatened if didnt pay extra then unable to use design which was already in use. Currently fighting these people for refund. Please don't use these people!

Do not use for website – After months of delays, additional fees being charged and conflicting phone calls, they produced a website I was very happy with, then removed all content and demanded more money (for security). Stealing Money – This just happened to me. I am currently fighting it. They cannot get away with this!! I told them a year ago I was not using their designs paid up and now a year later they take money of me claiming its for google.

the work secondly, after carry out the work midway, they will call again to tell you that need to add this and add that else it is not useful.. leading to more and more money to be paid. Again through phone. Thirdly, their staffs called form difference department but have the same voice, apparently same guy from sales, account, design etc. today they called me that because of the project not close, google charge me $30+ for the dashboard usage. Come on, the dashboard is their company dashboard for them to communicate with client on the project progress. and i have to pay for that. what type of company is this. and also what is the right for them to provide my credit card detail to google to make this charges?

be careful – these guys rang me months after i paid for logo trying to get more money out of me. then they tried saying it was google who were going to take money from me. try other company before these guys

Con artists – If you want your money stolen, harassment and threats via phone and nothing to show for your money, choose platinum designs! Scammers. Con artists. scum. oh and conversion fees on your money too! THESE GUYS ARE NOT AUSTRALIAN.

absolute money scam never got a logo and cost my company $300 – Paid the $30 for 6 basic logos, within 2 minutes of paying had a sales rep trying to upsell the package, after 6 logos I chose one of them and platinum said they only provide the file in a certain format that couldn't be used for web pages so had to pay another $250 in which I did, finally after this was done and the final logo chosen they hit me up for a $399 legal registration fee, and now have never heard back. stay away from these frauds

Total scam!! – After spending almost 3 months on my logo, they simply could not provide me simple logo. They first charged me $30 said everything is included then later after crappy poor job they asked me for $350. They are piece of crap. Do not buy.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use these people for anything. DO NOT give them your credit card details. I have been contacted by people from both New Zealand and South Africa after reviewing these people on Facebook, who have run into the same issues with Platinum Designs. They are NOT a legitimate set up. I've tried in vain to find their valid ABN.

[Original] These people are not up-front and honest. We approached them to design a logo for us for a very reasonable quote. While I have to state that I cannot fault their work on the logo, which came out great, that was where our troubles started.

First off, they constantly harass you over the phone, trying to get you to agree to websites and printing things and whatever other charges they can think of. Even after repeatedly saying no to a website on one particular phone call, I had to get pretty rude with the guy before he stopped harassing me and trying to trick me into saying yes.

Then, after our logo was provided, suddenly they started phoning and telling us the logo needed to be registered, it needed to be trademarked, it needed attestation. All of this kind of made sense, but each time they get you to agree to pay them money and the next day they phone with something new.

This is not to mention the fact there there is NO mention WHATSOEVER in any of their quotes, terms and conditions or anywhere on their site talking about these extra costs.

Now, we're sitting here, 4 months down the line, ten times out of pocket what they initially quoted us and I have nothing to show for it, apart from a few flimsy little invoices. I have contacted them repeatedly, lodging formal complaints and I still have nothing to show for it.

So now I'm trying to warn everyone and I have contacted the ACCC, making a formal complaint.

I'm also pretty sure most of their reviews are manufactured or come from the American business of the same name.
