My AirTouch 5 stopped responding to touch. The next day, I lodged a warranty claim. Even though the issue was not resolved, I started receiving emails asking for review feedback about my warranty experience, which was frustrating. After five days with no update, I replied to express my frustration, posted a product review, and started the… Read more ·  1

mediation process. After this, Polyaire contacted me and arranged a technician visit to replace the faulty AirTouch 5.

The technician was very professional and replaced the unit in about 30 minutes. His service alone deserves 5 stars. However, due to the slow response time for a critical failure and the confusing survey emails, I am giving 4 stars overall.

I hope this feedback helps Polyaire improve their warranty response process. Thank you, Polyaire, for resolving the issue quickly after escalation. We now have heating and cooling again.

Got this installed for QLD summer, was not cheep as needed upgrades to ducted aircon motors in the roof, the AirTouch itself a great price, it was other motor changes that saw the price skyrocket...... however, cooling the house over summer we are using approx 4Kw/H less on the Panasionic ducted 32Kw system...... this unit nd upgrade will pay for… Read more ·  1

itself in less than 2 years if it keeps preforming the way it is now! Also love the targeted cooling when the kids are at school and only want to cool the home office, very economical

Don't waste your time or money. Do not use the Auto feature. Best to use this controller manually. I was advised not to use the Auto feature by Airtouch and Installer. System does not stop at set temperatures. Show details

Airtouch 5 controls my Daikin 3 phase 7Kw AC wonderfully, much much better than the original Daikin controller. Have temperature sensors in each zone, and had to install a Bypass to avoid running the unit continuously. No temperature overshooting and controls the room temperature very smoothly. Get a Bypass installed it makes the system runs very… Read more ·  1

smoothly - in Spill Zone mode yoyr AC uniit will run almost continuously and completely lose the temperature control of the Spill Zone.

Spillzone is a nightmare. Should be sold with bypass. Buyer told one zone on is possible. Its not. Spillzone increases energy use, temperatures dont stay stable. App is dodgy. Show details

Just a dreadful system. If you are looking at this, see the Air Touch 4 comments. You are better off with one of those mercury type old fashioned systems. The controllers don't connect properly, the heating stays on until it is way too hot, then goes off until it is way too cool. Really disappointed. Now they come out with air touch 5 in order to get rid of the bad reviews. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. Show details ·  3

I've been using AirTouch 5 with a ducted Mitsubishi Electric system. The interface is excellent, and the zone control works reasonably well, but there's a fundamental flaw: the system assumes each zone has a single vent. In reality, many zones have multiple vents, and this affects how spill zones are triggered. For example, if a zone with 3 vents… Read more

is set to 20%, the system thinks that's 20% airflow — but it's actually closer to 60% total across the vents. This makes the spill zone logic inaccurate and can lead to unnecessary airflow dumping.

I emailed AirTouch support with a suggestion to improve this logic. No reply. Not even an acknowledgment. That’s disappointing for a modern product backed by a well-known company.

It’s still a good system, but it could be better if they listened to technical users. I’d love to revise this review if they ever respond or improve it.
