Terrible - did NOT work & wouldn’t refund – The porch potty was a complete failure for us… when our puppy weed on the grass, it pooled rather than drain and soaked her feet. The same thing happened when we tried to rinse the grass… even when we lifted the grass and watered it, hoping the bits that had made it through the grass would be washed away through the hose connected to our drain, the water simply pooled and did NOT drain at all. Reported to Porch Potty and they refunded THE GRASS ONLY! What the actual!!!!?! They claimed as they had diagnosed the grass was ‘faulty’, they only needed to refund the cost of the grass. So now We’re left with a totally useless base that cost us $350. Appalling - it’s a total waste of money
Purchased in for $400.
Way too smelly to continue using – While it looks good and seems durable, there is a design fault that makes it difficult to use longer term. There were 2 main problems. The groves in the plastic tray that are supposed to direct urine to the tray underneath are simply not angled proper,ly and most of the urine stays in the groves causing it to smell. And this is in spite of pouring water several times each day to rinse it. It takes more than 10L of water to rinse it each time but the smell cannot be washed out easily. It has to be dissambled, covered with detergent and scrubbed then hosed out.
The fake grass mat that comes with it is the 2nd problem. And we bought 2 lots of fake grass so that we changed it every 4 days basically and were using enzyme washes with it to try neutralise smells. The smell does not go away unless one soaks it in the detergent in the bathtub for 24hrs before rinsing. We have basically found ourselves spending 4 to 5 hours each week disinfecting rhe tray and changing the grass and tray to still have the smell lingering. It was simply not worth the time and pain and in spite of spending over $600 we went back to using disposable puppy pads.
Purchased in for $607.51.

Not suitable for Australian Climate – Disappointed that we only got a couple of years out of this on an enclosed balcony. Unfortunately customer service didn’t want to know about it falling apart after it was sold, numerous attempts to resolve the situation just get ignored. A good concept, but just not fit for the Australian market.
