Power Crank Batteries

Great service every time! I just keep coming back to them
Never had an issue with the supercrank batteries I've bought over the years. I run a fleet of concrete trucks and these have lasted longer than any other brand I've had before. Would definitely recommend for anyone else needing a decent truck battery
WARNING: Avoid Power Crank and their Lithium Batteries. Would give no stars if possible. Initially had 3 batteries 135amp lithium in parallel with Victron 120A/3000W inverter, 1300W solar, managed by Victron systems in caravan setup. Performance Failures Severe voltage drops during 80+ amp draws (draw well within manufacturer’s stated… Read more
specifications especially as over 3 batteries )
Kept telling us it is operator error, that we don’t understand power in power out . Finally insisted Power Crank test the batteries…. Yes you guessed Complete battery failure after 18 months - dropped to 9V within 1.5 hours under just 20amp load during testing.
Power Crank at this point had no other option than to replace the batteries. At this point we knew we were dealing with a company with poor after sales support & low quality high price product for what you get . New replacement batteries still experiencing large voltage drops and poor recovery. Batteries cutting off with minimal draw despite showing 90-100% charge Charging issues with Victron multiplus shuts down at 15.6V spikes when putting in 120 amps. Company Response & Service is blame customer for “not managing power in/out” put despite operating within their specifications.
Brisbane store admitted 1st bank had BMS issues with replacement batch they claimed these batteries BMS issue “fixed”.
Convinced us to purchase additional battery with false assurances about performance capabilities Misleading capacity claims (actual performance nowhere near advertised 135amp rating)
Customer service strategy appears to deny deny deny any issue with the batteries then ignoring correspondence until customers give up.
Everything else is the problem except their batteries (operators, Victron equipment) etc etc. Bottom line these batteries are not fit for purpose, especially for RV/caravan applications requiring reliable higher power draw power delivery.
The company’s customer service is appalling, while we have experienced some staff with Battery & management systems Knowledge their business model appears to be arrogance and a numbers game , employ sales people that knowingly or unknowingly sell products while making false performance claims just to get a sale.
Save yourself significant money and frustration - choose any other battery manufacturer would be a better decision than any dealings with Power Crank. What a joke their company logo Power People Trust …
All Victron equipment has been professionally tested and confirmed working correctly. The issue lies solely with Power Crank’s battery quality of components.
We have also had contact with others who have same make van and put 200amp Power Crank Power Lithium batteries in their vans & experience issues with their parallel banks. Apparently Power Crank have a new 300 amp battery @ $2700. Imagine paying that money for garbage.
We have invested in 5 years $6500 on batteries that lasted 18 mths & replacements 2yrs with Victron app showing they have only had 4 completed cycles & 98 syncs. A long way from Power Cranks 2000 cycles & upto 10 years life. Lies lies lies … do not walk-in a store do not dial their phone number…. Best decision you will ever make.
In 60+ years I have only once posted a Warning review & that was for high end bed that made untrue claims in relation to their product & arrogant customer service behavior. Nothing manufactured is perfect so I don’t have unrealistic expections so please don’t think I am just a winger. This company & product will only give you heart ache.
Not happy with battery seemed to only be usable for a couple of months before major issues and RACV was telling me battery was faulty and to return it. Eventually I put my old battery (4-5yr) OEM Mazda back in and used it without issues for many months. Warranty claim completely denied due to discharge Recharging in early days would get it to… Read more
11.5v but that was insufficient to start car and I left it too long before returning to battery under warranty. When I checked the battery with ampmeter it was at 6.5v but when the warranty service store checked it was at 5v (a lot of self dioscharge in 5 days!) They quoted the warranty would not cover it and he can't go against the boss who wasn't there. Pretty sure they didnt even ship a copy of the warranty with the battery. Given my experience with this battery and the poor warranty/service I would never buy this again. Checking the warranty it does not state battery needed to be returned with any period of time and the retail store (Ford) said it should have been returned within 60days so they probably made that up. (PS: When I had a replacement Aus. manufactured battery after 2.5yrs they replaced it without issue.)
Very poor quality Batteries ,stay away no warranty honour .Spen $1000 on two truck batteries .
Very bad experience. Twice – Initial n70z size battery failed within warranty period. Took many months, many many phone calls to finally receive a replacement! This is now also failing within warranty period! Alex was very promising and accomadating when on the numerous phone calls for replacement, however, also full of excuses! Would prefer a refund as product is NOT fit for purpose. Don't buy is my advise.
Power crap batteries – Bought 2, one lasted a month the other 3 months.and the shop wouldn't backup there warranty. Waste of $430

Super short life span – Should be called super short lifespan batteries, bought one for the 4WD and one for the zero turn lawn mower. Both flogged out pretty much the same time. Didn’t even last 3 years very disappointed as they performed well when fresh and had bucket loads of power.

Inferior Batteries that don’t last – The company I work for (fleet maintenance) had to stop using Power Crank as they simply do not last. Our customers were spending too much every year on batteries and it was making us look silly, so we changed supplier. If you spent twice as much money on a well known name brand competitors battery you’d still be getting better value and performance than Power Crank.

Don't Buy Especially from Battery Power Center – Lasted 8 months before throwing a cell. Took it back to Battery Power Center in Darwin who REFUSED to honor the 2 year warranty. Honestly if their outlets offer this sort of service, total red flag... STAY AWAY
Hello Rob, please contact the Darwin branch to see if this concern can be fixed. Thankyou
Power Crank supply awesome batteries – As a battery retailer, I have supplied many brands of car and boat batteries over the years. Power Crank batteries have had high output, awesome reliability, long life and if there was a faulty battery, it was replaced. All my cars and boats are fitted with Power Crank batteries, I always recommend Power Crank. Show reply

Great batteries overall – We’ve bought power crank battery for our suv Almost 3 years ago still going strong. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Good price for the quality battery. We often go on country run and always been reliable. Show reply
Good service @ good batterys – Got two battery's one me and one wife car, The service I got was very good and the battery's last over 4 years , buying two battery's , shop in Perth, good service Show reply
Very poor quality – These batteries don’t even last the warranty period. As a business owner we’ve had multiple Powercrank batteries that just seem to go flat on their own. All in different cars. Warranty service is appalling. They take them away, charge them overnight then retest them and claim they passed the load test. Are Powercrank battery owners expected to charge them overnight now?! Isn’t that what the alternator does?! Terrible quality
Poor everything – Purchased "Platinum" brand battery for Landcruiser in Darwin from Battery Power with 2 year warranty. Took it back to Battery Power Wetherill Park under warranty within 6 months. Man replaced it, with 1 year warranty but said he was not permitted to install it. I had to get help to install it before I could leave. Less than 1 year in, more probs.… Read more
Did not take it back as we need reliability for extensive travel in remote Australia. Diagnosis was problem with cells and not holding a charge. Cut our losses and purchased new battery from BATTERY WORLD in Penrith who said if they have to replace under warranty, then they give full warranty on the replacement. They also do free installation.
Poor service – I had a battery less than 12 months old that went flat on me. Rang PowerCrank they replaced the battery as they should then 3 days later that battery went flat. It was my problem then. Will not buy another PowerCrank battery ever. Had my Alternator tested as they said it was faulty, not fault was recorded.
Warranty – I had a flat battery i went to jump start my car and noticed my battery terminals had melted. I rang and spoke to the guy and went to the business an hour later. The battery i brought from this business less than 8 months ago new and came with warranty and didn't think much of it. Upon arrival the man told me the warranty did not cover melted… Read more
